Department of Information Technology. To: All Full and Part-Time Faculty The Information Technology department supports the teaching, learning, and administrative needs of the Asnuntuck community. It provides service in the areas of instructional computing, administrative computing, workstation and server hardware and software support, telecommunications, and telephone support. It is important to note that there is no food or drink allowed in any computer lab. Instructors and students may leave these items in the front of the labs, or on rolling carts on the side if available. Any files saved to the hard drive will be deleted when the computer is rebooted. Always have your students save to their OneDrive or USB drive. If you have special software needs to accommodate your textbooks, please contact the Academic Xxxx to follow the Academic Software approval process. Department of Information Technology. DOIT’s responsibilities are to guide agencies statewide on acquiring, managing, and appropriately using IT. Also, DOIT is to oversee state departmentsmanagement of specific IT projects and develop policies for acquiring new IT software or hardware. DOIT communicates IT policies through the State Administrative Manual and management memos sent to all state departments. A department seeking approval for an IT project is generally required to submit a feasibility study report (FSR) to DOIT. The FSR gives the business and technical reasons to justify investing state resources in the project, why the proposed project is needed, the means for ensuring its success, and a comprehensive analysis of its benefits and costs. DOIT’s review focuses primarily on the project’s technical viability, justification, proposed management risks, and alignment with the State’s mission. DOIT is also responsible for monitoring projects to ensure compliance with statewide strategies, policies, and standards. Finally, DOIT develops best practices and guidance on acquiring, managing, and using IT, as well as directing how the State can use IT to reduce the cost of government.

  • Accessibility of Information Technology Contractor represents and warrants that any software/ hardware/ communications system/ equipment (collectively “technology”), if any, provided under this Agreement adheres to the standards and/or specifications as may be set forth in the Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 standards guide and is fully compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA standards for accessibility and compliant with any applicable FCC regulations. Technology that will be used on a mobile device must also be navigable with Voiceover on iOS devices in addition to meeting WCAG 2.0 level AA. If portions of the technology or user experience are alleged to be non-compliant or non- accessible at any point, District will provide Contractor with notice of such allegation and Contractor shall use its best efforts to make the technology compliant and accessible. If a state or federal department, office or regulatory agency, or if any other third party administrative agency or organization (“Claimants”), make a claim, allegation, initiates legal or regulatory process, or if a court finds or otherwise determines that technology is non-compliant or non-accessible, Contractor shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the District from and against any and all such claims, allegations, liabilities, damages, penalties, fees, costs (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees), arising out of or related to Xxxxxxxxx’ claims. Contractor shall also fully indemnify District for the full cost of any user accommodation that is found to be necessary due to an identifiable lack of accessibility in the Contractor’s technology. If necessary, an independent 3rd party accessibility firm using POUR standards (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust) may be used to validate the accessibility of the technology.

  • INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY The following applies to all contracts for information technology commodities and contractual services. “Information technology” is defined in section 287.012(15), F.S., to have the same meaning as provided in section 282.0041, F.S.

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.   • NYS OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES NOTIFICATION All New York State Agencies must notify the Office of Information Technology Services of any and all plans to procure IT and IT -related products, materials and services meeting required thresholds defined in Technology Policy NYS–P08-001: xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/sites/default/files/documents/NYS-P08-001.pdf, as may be amended, modified or superseded. SALES REPORTING REQUIREMENTS Contractor shall furnish OGS with quarterly sales reports utilizing Appendix I - Report of Contract Sales. Purchases by Non- State Agencies, political subdivisions and others authorized by law shall be reported in the same report and indicated as required. All fields of information shall be accurate and complete. OGS reserves the right to unilaterally make revisions, changes and/or updates to Appendix I - Report of Contract Sales or to require sales to be reported in a different format without processing a formal amendment and/or modification. Further, additional related sales information and/or detailed Authorized User purchases may be required by OGS and must be supplied upon request. Reseller Sales Product sold through Reseller(s) must be reported by Contractor in the required Appendix I – Report of Contract Sales. Due Date The Appendix I - Report of Contract Sales will be quarterly (January - March, April - June, July - September and October - December). Reports will be due 1 month after the closing quarter. SERVICE REPORTS FOR MAINTENANCE/SUPPORT AND WARRANTY WORK Service Reports for Authorized User An Authorized User in an RFQ may require compliance with any or all of this section. If requested by the Authorized User, the Contractor shall furnish the Authorized User with service reports for all Maintenance/support and warranty work upon completion of the services. The service reports may include the following information in either electronic or hard copy form as designated by the Authorized User:  Date and time Contractor was notified  Date and time of Contractor’s arrival  Make and model of the Product  Description of malfunction reported by Authorized User  Diagnosis of failure and/or work performed by Contractor  Date and time failure was corrected by Contractor  Type of service – Maintenance/support or warranty  Charges, if any, for the service Service Reports for OGS

  • Information Technologies Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in Information Technologies sectors, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to focus on cooperative activities towards information technology areas where mutual and complementary interests exists; and (b) to build on existing agreements and arrangements already in place between the Parties. 2. Information Technologies cooperation may include, but not be limited to: (a) scientific and technical cooperation for the Software Industry of the Parties and encouraging cooperation in software development for populations with specific needs; (b) facilitate the cooperation on academic, industrial and entrepreneurial networks in the area of Information Technology; (c) encouraging exchange of experience on management and research and development for Information Technology Parks; (d) research and development on Information Technology products and services, integrating television, multimedia, and cellular telephones; and (e) encouraging exchange of experience for research and development in networks and telecommunications.

  • Trade Secrets, Commercial and Financial Information It is expressly understood that Mississippi law requires that the provisions of this contract which contain the commodities purchased or the personal or professional services provided, the price to be paid, and the term of the contract shall not be deemed to be a trade secret or confidential commercial or financial information and shall be available for examination, copying, or reproduction.

  • DATA PROTECTION AND FREEDOM OF INFORMATION 7.1. Each party will:-

The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • Supply of Information The Republic agrees to deliver or cause to be delivered to each Stock Exchange copies of such documents as may be reasonably required for the purpose of obtaining such listing.

  • E5 Freedom of Information E5.1 The Contractor acknowledges that the Authority is subject to the requirements of the FOIA and the Environmental Information Regulations and shall assist and cooperate with the Authority to enable the Authority to comply with its Information disclosure obligations.
