Common use of Department of Human Services Clause in Contracts

Department of Human Services. 1. The Union may request use of available space at an institution in the Department of Human Services for use as an office or for the storage of papers and files. Provisions of such space shall not be unreasonably withheld when available; however, the provision of space shall not take priority over essential uses and may be on a shared basis. The State shall incur no responsibility for security or safety of any Union materials nor any liability for loss or damages which occur. Further, the Union may be permitted to furnish file cabinets or other equipment to the commitment above and under the same conditions. The permission to utilize facilities of the State may be withdrawn by the State at any time.
