Delayed Start. If a nurse is not needed at the beginning of a shift due to 2 staffing level or low census but will be necessary to provide meal and 3 break coverage, then a nurse will be placed on a delayed start time and 4 on-call for the first two (2) hours of the shift. If not called back prior to the 5 delayed start time, the nurse will be paid their regular rate of pay for all 6 hours worked. If needed earlier, the nurse can be called back before the 7 delayed start time. If this occurs, the nurse will receive one and one-half 8 (1½) times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked in addition to any 9 on-call time. The hours the nurse is placed on-call, but not called in, will 10 be calculated into the twenty-four (24) hours of mandatory absence for 11 that period.

Delayed Start. On announced delayed start days, bargaining unit members are to report to work exactly two (2) hours later than their normal starting time. Overall planning and conference times may be reduced in any week affected by a school closure or schedule compaction occasioned by a delayed start day or days.
Delayed Start. Whenever the District delays the regular starting time employees shall receive their regularly scheduled pay and benefits for the delayed time period. Classified employees whose schedule requires arrival prior to the decision to delay school or whose regular schedule precludes them from being notified of delay prior to departure from home shall receive compensatory time off for the period of delay. One hour pay is guaranteed.

  • Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

  • Outpatient Dental Anesthesia Services This plan covers anesthesia services received in connection with a dental service when provided in a hospital or freestanding ambulatory surgical center and: • the use of this is medically necessary; and • the setting in which the service is received is determined to be appropriate. This plan also covers facility fees associated with these services.

  • Incidental Services 13.1 The supplier may be required to provide any or all of the following services, including additional services (if any) specified in the SCC:

  • DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE Local Agency will comply with all requirements of Exhibit G and Local Agency Contract Administration Checklist regarding DBE requirements for the Work, except that if Local Agency desires to use its own DBE program to implement and administer the DBE provisions of 49 C.F.R. Part 26 under this Agreement, it must submit a copy of its program’s requirements to the State for review and approval before the execution of this Agreement. If Local Agency uses any State- approved DBE program for this Agreement, Local Agency shall be solely responsible to defend that DBE program and its use of that program against all legal and other challenges or complaints, at its sole cost and expense. Such responsibility includes, without limitation, determinations concerning DBE eligibility requirements and certification, adequate legal and factual bases for DBE goals and good faith efforts.   • Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise Compliance Award of this Contract was based, in part, on the Indiana Veteran’s Business Enterprise (“IVBE”) participation plan. The Contractor may also be required to report IVOSB certified subcontractor payments directly to the IVOSB Division, as reasonably requested and in the format required by the IVOSB Division. The Contractor’s failure to comply with the provisions in this clause may be considered a material breach of the Contract.
