Degree Status. A member who previously attained or who attains an associate or higher degree from an Accredited College or University and administration determines the degree is relevant or helpful for the member’s job description, shall be paid forty-five (45) cents per hour in addition to his hourly rate. The Member who acquires the degree that will provide the premium wage must provide documentation in the form of official transcripts by Sept 30 to the Superintendent in order to effect the change in pay for that fiscal year. In making this determination, the administration shall not act arbitrarily or capriciously.

Degree Status. When an associate or bachelor’s degree is attained from a Board of Regents School, an official transcript should be forwarded to the Office of Support Staff. It shall be the responsibility of the employee to notify the Employer of educational achievement. July 1, or the first day of the first payroll period in the second semester, will be the effective date of the adjustment to the employee’s hourly rate. See salary schedule.
Degree Status. (a) All members of the professional staff employed in positions requiring teaching or special services certificate shall be paid in accordance with the schedules noted below. In each of the following categories, additional study in order to be credited for advancement on the salary schedule must be completed in a planned program at a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
