Definition of Half time Teacher - "Half-time teacher" as used in this policy shall mean a certified teacher who has a half-time contract with the Harrisburg School District in which he/she works at least one-half day every day or one full day every other day for the entire 175-day school year.
Definition of Half. Day: A half-day or evening will be equivalent to 4 hours.
Definition of Half. Day Leave If a teacher finds it necessary to be absent from school four (4) instructional periods or its equivalent, the teacher will be deducted a full half-day from sick days. The teacher may be entitled to leave school or be required to return to school at 11:10 AM.
