Common use of Definition of Family Clause in Contracts

Definition of Family. The employee’s family shall include the employee’s spouse, child, parent, parent-in-law, xxxxxx parent or guardian sibling, grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, step child, step parent, or individuals with whom the employee resides. In individual cases, the Superintendent has the discretion to allow an expanded application of “employee’s family.”
