Common use of Deferred Approvals Clause in Contracts

Deferred Approvals. Items requiring "Deferred Approval" are noted in the Plans and Specifications. Contractor shall submit complete design documents and calculations to the Architect and its consultants. The Contractor is responsible for prompt submission of these Deferred Approval submittals to the Architect and for making any changes, as required by DSA, at no additional costs to the Owner, and prior to incorporation of the product or system into the Work. Approval of these items is contingent upon approval by DSA. Deferred Approval submittals shall be submitted as described herein:
