Deferred Approvals. Approval of certain aspects of the construction may be deferred until the construction Contract has been awarded. To facilitate the design process, DSA grants deferred approval to the design and detailing of certain elements of the Project at the request of the Architect or Engineer of Record. Design elements that may be deferred may include, but are not limited to Access floors, Bleachers, Elevator guide rails and related elevator systems, Exterior wall systems - precast concrete, glass fiber reinforced concrete, etc., Skylights, Window wall systems, storefronts, Stage rigging, and other systems as noted in the Contract Documents. (Also see Article 15.3 and 15.6).
Deferred Approvals. Deferred approvals shall be submitted and processed to ensure all DSA and other governmental approvals are secured so as to not delay the Project. There may be additional requirements for deferred approvals in Division 1 of the Specifications. All deferred approvals shall be prepared by Contractor or Contractor’s agent early enough so as to not delay the Project. Contractor is aware that Title 24 California Code of Regulations Section 4-317 has specific requirements for deferred approvals as to governing agencies and as to the Architect and Engineer for the Project. As a result, any delay associated with the time for approval by applicable agencies or by the Architect or Architect’s consultants shall be Contractor’s. Contractor is required to comply with inclusion of Deferred Approvals in the Schedule as required under Article 9
Deferred Approvals. Promptly after receipt thereof, copies of each Deferred Approval obtained by the Borrower, together with such documents relating thereto as any Lender may request through the Administrative Agent, certified as true, complete and correct by an Authorized Officer of the Borrower.
Deferred Approvals. Deferred Approvals are Submittals that are reviewed by the Architect (or Engineer of Record) and submitted to DSA for approval based on thorough detailing of manufacturer and Project specific design. See Article 3.9.1
Deferred Approvals. Items requiring "Deferred Approval" are noted in the Plans and Specifications. Contractor shall submit complete design documents and calculations to the Architect and its consultants. The Contractor is responsible for prompt submission of these Deferred Approval submittals to the Architect and for making any changes, as required by DSA, at no additional costs to the Owner, and prior to incorporation of the product or system into the Work. Approval of these items is contingent upon approval by DSA. Deferred Approval submittals shall be submitted as described herein:

Deferred Approvals. Deferred approval items are identified in the drawings and/or specifications that require the Contractor to prepare drawings and/or calculations and other data for submission to DSA for formal review and approvals requiring a structural engineer’s stamp and calculations, a structural engineer licensed in the State of California shall be utilized in the submittal process. The contractor shall pay all costs associated with the preparation and approval of the deferred approval items.
Deferred Approvals. The requirements approved by the DSA on any item submitted as a deferred approval in accordance with Title 24, California Code of Regulations, shall take precedence over any previously issued addenda, drawing or specification.
Deferred Approvals. Deferred approvals shall be submitted and processed pursuant to the requirements of the Specifications. Deferred approval items may require longer or multiple reviews. The Contractor shall apply skill and knowledge to expedite the deferral approval items from preparation to final approval. The Contractor shall schedule the project activities in order to avoid critical path delays as a result of the deferred approval process. All risks of delay due to the Division of the State Architect’s, or any other governmental agency having jurisdiction, approval of a deferred approval shall be on the requesting party.
