Common use of Defeasance Upon Deposit of Moneys or U Clause in Contracts

Defeasance Upon Deposit of Moneys or U. S. Government ---------------------------------------------------- Obligations. ----------- At the Company's option, either (a) the Company shall be deemed to have been Discharged (as defined below) from its obligations with respect to Debt Securities of any series ("legal defeasance option") or (b) the Company shall cease to be under any obligation to comply with any term, provision or condition set forth in Section 10.01 with respect to Debt Securities of any series (and, if so specified pursuant to Section 3.01, any other obligation of the Company or restrictive covenant added for the benefit of such series pursuant to Section 3.01) ("covenant defeasance option") at any time after the applicable conditions set forth below have been satisfied:

Government ---------------------------------------------------- Obligations. ----------- At the Company's option, either (a) the Company shall be deemed to have been Discharged (as defined below) from its obligations with respect to Debt Securities of any series ("legal defeasance option") on the 91st day after the applicable conditions set forth below have been satisfied or (b) the Company shall cease to be under any obligation to comply with any term, provision or condition set forth in Section 10.01 8.01, Section 10.04, Section 10.05, Section 10.06, Section 10.07 and Section 10.08 with respect to Debt Securities of any series (and, if so specified pursuant to Section 3.01, any other obligation of the Company or restrictive covenant added for the benefit of such series pursuant to Section 3.01) ("covenant defeasance option"series) at any time after the applicable conditions set forth below have been satisfied:
