DEDUCTIONS FROM WAGES. (a) (i) The Company will deduct a sum equal to the regular monthly dues of the Union from the first pay of each month of all employees. However, if sufficient unencumbered earnings are not payable to the employee, the appropriate sum will be deducted from the first pay of the month in which there are sufficient unencumbered earnings.

DEDUCTIONS FROM WAGES. (a) (i) The Company will deduct a sum equal to the regular monthly dues of the appropriate Union from the first pay of each month of all employees. However, if sufficient unencumbered earnings are not payable to the employee, the appropriate sum will be deducted from the first pay of the month in which there are sufficient unencumbered earnings. The Company will not collect arrears of Union dues in excess of three (3) months, except in the case of an employee being transferred from one union to another and the deductions of the Union dues are not made, or not made to the proper Union.
