DEDUCTIBLE LEAVE DAYS. A newly employed teacher, after the first day of work, shall be entitled to six (6) Deductible Leave Days. After completing twenty (20) contractual days a newly employed teacher shall be granted an additional five (5) Deductible Leave Days. These eleven (11) Deductible Leave Days shall be credited yearly in advance to full-time teachers who are continuing their employment with the Ionia Public Schools. For all other teachers, Deductible Leave Days shall be granted on a pro rata basis. Deductible Leave Days for an individual teacher may accumulate to a maximum of one hundred ninety (190). Deductible Leave Days may be used for Personal Illness, Disability, Maternity Conditions, and other purposes, as further defined in Subsection c. below.

  • Deductible An annual deductible of fifty dollars ($50) per person and one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per family applies to State Dental Plan non-preventive services received from in-network providers. An annual deductible of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per person applies to State Dental Plan services received from out of network providers. The deductible must be satisfied before coverage begins.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.

  • Benefit Waiting Period Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for and takes leave pursuant to 21.1 or 21.2 and is required by Employment Insurance to serve a one-week waiting period for Employment Insurance Maternity/Parental benefits, shall be paid a leave allowance equivalent to one week at 85% of the employee's basic pay.

  • Maternity Allowance (a) An employee who has been granted maternity leave without pay shall be paid a maternity allowance in accordance with the terms of the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan described in paragraph (c) to (i), provided that she:

  • Maternity Leave Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for maternity leave pursuant to Clause 26.01, shall be paid a maternity leave allowance in accordance with the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan, as set out in Letter of Understanding #1. In order to receive this allowance, the employee must provide to the Employer proof that the employee has applied for and is eligible to receive employment insurance benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act. An employee disentitled or disqualified from receiving employment insurance benefits is not eligible for maternity leave allowance.

  • Not Tax Deductible For purposes of this Settlement Agreement, Xxxxx shall not deduct any monies spent to comply with any provision of this Settlement Agreement in calculating and submitting its federal, state, or local income tax.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.
