December Graduates c. Affiliation with Jacksonville University programs that are outside a reasonable commuting distance from campus (e.g., Study Abroad, internships, Co-op, student teaching).
December Graduates. If you graduate from SE during the term of this contract and notify the Housing & Residence Life Office in writing before 11/15 of the fall semester for a fall graduation, the 50% charge (for the spring semester housing) will be waived. Meal Plan Terminations: No refunds will be given for meal plans canceled after the 4th week of the fall or spring contract term*. Future semester meal plans will be refunded at 100% (includes Thunderbucks/Flex). To be refunded at 100%, Meal Plans must be terminated prior to the meal plan start date, which corresponds to the first move-in date offered by the University for that semester. Current semester meal plans may be changed or terminated and pro-rated on a weekly basis, up to the end of the 4th week of the semester contract term*. After this date, students will be charged for the full semester meal plan.

Spring Student Teachers: Resident students who will be relocating to engage in enrolled student teaching activities during the Spring semester will be eligible to have the 50% Spring semester housing charges and associated fees waived, provided that the student: o Notifies Housing & Residence Life by 11/15. Students must email (xxxxxxx@xx.xxx) to advise HRL staff of their intention to terminate their Spring Housing contract to relocate near the assigned Student Teaching experience. The email must be sent from the student’s SE student email address and must be sent to the Housing email listed above. (Verbal statements to any staff will not be accepted.) o The student is enrolled in the associated SE courses for the Spring semester, and o Follows proper procedures to cancel their Spring Housing Contract (and Spring meal plan) using the SE Housing Portal before 11/15 of the fall semester, o Follows proper procedures to check out by 4pm of the last day of the Fall Housing Contract (aka the Friday of fall finals week.)
