Death or Termination. In the event of termination of an employee who is otherwise entitled vacation credits, the employee shall be entitled to payment for earned vacation leave. In the event of death, earned but unused vacation shall be paid in the same manner as salary.

Death or Termination. In the event of the death or termination of an employee, for reasons other than failure to meet employment standards of the District during the initial 12 months of employment, accrued vacation time will be paid to the employee or the employee’s surviving spouse In the event of death, retirement, or termination of employment the employee shall be entitled to payment for accrued vacation leave at the rate as of the date of eligibility.
