DAYS TO BE WORKED. The Superintendent agrees to work a total of two-hundred sixty-one (261) days per annum, less vacation, holidays, sick leave and personal leave to count toward this total. The Superintendent shall devote such time and energies as are necessary to perform the duties specified during normal business hours, but it is expressly agreed that the duties of this position will require the Superintendent to work during times other than normal business hours.

DAYS TO BE WORKED. For purposes of clarification, teacher assistants shall work their regularly-assigned number of hours on all days when student schedules are not altered (full days). It is understood that teacher assistants may be asked to work prior to school beginning on an annual basis, consistent with teacher work days. Summer training opportunities may also be offered to teacher assistants. In the event that summer training is offered, the teacher assistant bargaining team shall meet with the superintendent in May of each year covered by this Agreement to determine the length of the training and compensation for same. Student schedules are normally altered (half-days) as follows:

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • Work The definition of work, for overtime purposes only, includes:

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members. Recognition will be given to the qualifications of the members and the requirements placed on the City by any third party funding sources.   • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday.   • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s). Employees may refer safety related workload concerns to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee for investigation under Article 22.3 (Occupational Health and Safety Committee).

  • Flexible Work Hours Upon request of an authorized employee, the State may establish flexible work hours for a Xxxx 00 employee upon agreement between the employee and the employer. Any flexible work hour schedule shall not exceed thirty (30) days.
