DAY WORKER Sample Clauses

The 'Day Worker' clause defines the terms and conditions under which an individual is employed and compensated on a daily basis rather than as a salaried or hourly employee. Typically, this clause outlines the scope of work, daily pay rates, and expectations for attendance or performance, applying to workers who are hired for short-term or variable-duration tasks. Its core practical function is to provide clear guidelines for both employer and worker regarding payment and responsibilities, thereby reducing misunderstandings and ensuring compliance with labor regulations for temporary or flexible work arrangements.
