Common use of Day Shift Clause in Contracts

Day Shift. The regular working week shall consist of not more than forty (40) hours of work to be performed during regular shift periods except where a shorter work week is established in accordance with Section (e). A regular shift period shall consist of not more than eight (8) hours of work to be performed on Monday to Friday inclusive of each week (exclusive of the vacation period and holidays) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour for lunch, which is to be taken between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:30 p.m.

Day Shift. The regular working week workweek shall consist of not more than forty (40) hours on the basis of work to be performed during regular shift periods except where a shorter work week is established in accordance with Section five (e). A regular shift period shall consist 5) days of not more than eight (8) hours, Monday to Friday, inclusive. The normal hours of work for the regular day shift will be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. In order to keep machines in continuous operation, the lunch period will be performed on Monday to Friday inclusive of each week (exclusive of the vacation period and holidays) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour for lunch, which is to be taken between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:30 p.m.staggered.

A regular shift period shall consist of not more than eight (8) hours of work to be performed on per day normally Monday to Friday inclusive of each week (exclusive of the vacation period and holidays) between the hours of 8:00 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Notwithstanding the above paragraph, the Company may institute the following shifts in the service and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour for lunch, which is to be taken between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:30 p.m.parts department.
