Day Fortnight. 13.6.1 Where requested by an employee or groups of employees and with the prior approval of the Council/Chief Executive Officer, employees may access a 9 day fortnight where the ordinary hours of work shall be 76 hours to be worked over a 9 days of a two week period between the hours of 7.30 am and 7.30 pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. The Chief Executive Officer retains the right to investigate the feasibility of this option and make the final determination regarding access to this option for any employee or group of employees.

Day Fortnight. 14.2.1 Employees covered by this Agreement will be entitled to work a nine (9) day fortnight roster. The nine (9) day fortnight will be at no additional cost to Council.

Day Fortnight. All Full Time and Part Time Security Officershours of work, will be based on a 9 day, 72.5 hours/fortnight at ordinary rates of pay unless otherwise agreed to, on an individual basis. All worked hours, which are not rostered hours, will be utilised for training and/or other Security purposes at a mutually convenient time.
Day Fortnight. By agreement with their manager, an employee may work a 9 day fortnight that equates to working a condensed 76 hour fortnight over 9 days. Approved 9 day fortnight arrangements will be confirmed in writing and the arrangement will be reviewed annually. Staff on a 9 day fortnight are considered to be full-time employees. 4.1.3
Day Fortnight. By mutual agreement, made in advance between the employer and employees (work team), a 9 day fortnight can be used to meet work requirements. In such cases a 50% simple majority of team members must be in favour of the arrangement and it must be approved by management and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. New employees to the work team are required to work the arrangements that are in place within their work team at the time of their employment with Council. Typically, where the employee works 72.5 ordinary hours in a 9 day period, they will be entitled to have the 10th day off as a Rostered Day Off.
