Date of Professional Credit. Classification on the salary schedule is for the full contract year. After 32 September 30th of each year, no changes in classification will be made until the following contract year.
Date of Professional Credit. To qualify for professional advancement, additional professional credits of the Employee must be submitted by transcript or grade slip to the Superintendent by the third day of the school year to be reflected as a salary increase in the September warrant. If the transcript or grade slip is submitted subsequent to the third day of school but on or before October 1, the salary increase will be retroactive to the first day of employment of the current school year. No salary adjustments or professional advancement for professional educational credits will be made for that contract year for credits submitted after October 1.

The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Professional Dress In as much as teachers are role models for students, each teacher shall maintain a neat, professional appearance appropriate for his/her specific teaching assignment.

  • Professional Day The period set forth in the Professional Day Article.

  • Professional Service Consultant agrees that all services and work performed under this agreement will be accomplished in a professional manner, in accordance with the accepted standards of Contractor’s profession.

  • PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR A. Teachers are expected to comply with reasonable rules, regulations, and directions adopted by the Board, or its representatives, which are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, provided that a teacher may reasonably refuse to carry out an order which threatens physical safety or well being or is professionally demeaning.

  • Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part- time employees who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario subject to the following limitations:

  • Paraprofessionals 4.3.1 Paraprofessionals employed by the Charter School shall meet all qualification requirements imposed by applicable federal and State law, rules, and regulations.
