Common use of DATA REQUESTS Clause in Contracts

DATA REQUESTS. Contractor shall promptly notify the Court upon receipt of any requests which in any way might reasonably require access to the Court Data. Contractor shall not respond to subpoenas, service of process, Public Records Act requests (or requests under California Rule of Court 10.500), and other legal requests directed at Contractor regarding this Agreement or Court Data without first notifying the Court. Contractor shall provide its intended responses to the Court with adequate time for the Court to review, revise and, if necessary, seek a protective order in a court of competent jurisdiction. Contractor shall not respond to legal requests directed at the Court unless authorized in writing to do so by the Court.
