Data Acquisition Sample Clauses

Data Acquisition. The acquisition of data to realistically simulate the electrical behavior of system components is a fundamental requirement for the development of a reliable interconnected transmission system. Therefore, the TSP and the Generator shall be required to submit specific information regarding the electrical characteristics of their respective facilities to each other as described below in accordance with ERCOT Requirements.

Data Acquisition a. BACnet Standard BACnet refers to the open communications protocol, ANSI/ASHRAE STD 135, created by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air- Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and adopted shortly after its creation as a standard by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The BACnet standard defines a protocol for transmitting messages between various devices in a Building Automation or Control System. The standard also specifies the networks over which these messages are exchanged: o BACnet Ethernet & BACnet/IP – Utilizing standard LAN technology o BACnet MSTP (Master Slave Token Passing) – relies on the EIA-485 serial communication signaling standard. o BACnet PTP (point-to point) – For temporary connections between Devices
Data Acquisition. The conduct of testing should conform to all professional standards concerning the data quality and quantity.
Data Acquisition. 11.1 Upon installation of the software product, depending on the software product, diagnostic as well as technical, usage-relevant and related information, including unique system and hardware identifi- ers, as well as information on the system software used, software licence and modules as well as all devices and communications controlled by the software (collectively referred to as "systemic data") are recorded locally on the Licensee's computer or the technical prerequisite for the recording of the aforementioned information by the Licensee is prepared if necessary; under the respectively indicated Webseite or in the respective software product, a detailed overview of the recorded data can be viewed. Depending on the application and configuration case, this data may also be stored locally in the network or on servers located in the network in order to enable further products or services of the licensor. The licensor is entitled to use this systemic data for diagnostic purposes or for licensor services and to collect the data, provided that it is collected and stored for the purposes described above in a form that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individuals. Depending on the software product, data collection can be prevented by uninstalling the analysis soft- xxxx.
Data Acquisition a. MODBUS Standard • MODBUS is an application layer messaging protocol for client/server communication between devices connected on different types of buses or networks. • The MOD9200 functions as a MODBUS Server in the MODBUS Client/Server Model and utilizes the MODBUS messaging services over TCP/IP or RS485/RS232 to communicate to a MODBUS Client. • For implementation information please refer to the Modbus Standard Library at xxx.xxxxxx.xxx . Both the MODBUS Application Protocol Specification and the MODBUS Messaging On TCP/IP Implementation Guide are available for download there.
Data Acquisition. Data Acquisition collects time-series measurements from different layers including infrastructure, platform and media services. Data is collected to support service design, management and control decisions resulting in state changes in configuration items. The link between decisions and data is through queries and rules applied to contextual information stored with measurement values. The monitoring model uses an agent-based approach with hierarchical aggregation used as required for different time scales of decision-making, as shown in Figure 20.
Data Acquisition. Responsibility: POWER Deliverable(s): • Information necessary to prepare settings Prepare a written data request and submit to CLWB. Request CLWB’s protective relaying standards or guidelines, example settings, CT data, database for short circuit studies in ASPEN, settings for relays that must be coordinated with, settings for remote end relays, system single line drawings, loading for tapped substations, all transmission line rating data, and other pertinent information. Gather applicable “Issued for Construction” drawings, including meter and relay single line drawings, DC schematic drawings, AC three-line drawings, and panel drawing from POWER’s design team. Review data received and communicate with CLWB and POWER’s design team to clarify information and/or request additional information. Organize data in electronic and paper files. Assumption(s): • CLWB’s protection engineer will be available to assist in interpreting the data provided. • CLWB’s provided information will be assumed as up-to-date. • “Issued for Construction” drawings will be available. • Documentation of final configurations at remote terminals will be available. • The 138kV Canal Transmission project is awarded to PEI. • 7th Avenue North Substation relay setting templates will be provided for 27kV relaying.

Data Acquisition. Provide the necessary support to collect, enter, verify and validate all input data to MHSS systems, ensure that all data sources meet the specifications of the Standard Data Dictionary and report anomalies, errors or other potential problems to the appropriate System Administrator.
Data Acquisition. 7.1 In the event the Data has yet to be acquired, the following will apply:
Data Acquisition. (a) Installation and Maintenance of Meters. Except to the extent that a Third Party is responsible for such services, the Servicer shall use its best efforts to cause to be installed, replaced and maintained meters in such places and in such condition as will enable the Servicer to obtain usage measurements for each Customer approximately every thirty days or as provided in the applicable tariff.
