Dampproofing. (a) Dampproofing materials shall be applied to all buried concrete surfaces in contact with the soil to within 300 millimetres of Finished Ground Elevation, with the exception of those surfaces cast directly against the soil or in contact with prefabricated drainage composite. Dampproofing materials shall be mineral colloid emulsified asphalt complying with Canadian General Standards Board Specification No. 37.16-M89. Acceptable product is Bakelite/Flintguard 710-11 Foundation Coating as manufactured by Bakor, Elsro Fibrated Foundation Coating, Insulmastic 7103 Fibered Waterproofing, or equivalent in accordance with B7 as accepted by the Contract Administrator.
Dampproofing. A troweled application of bituminous dampproofing with protection board and drain tile shall be applied to below grade walls.
Dampproofing. Sanitary manholes remodeled shall be paid for at the contract unit price bid per each price for remodeling of the existing manhole. The contract price shall include payment for all the required labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform the work of this section. Payment will include the cost of excavation, protection of the existing manhole, backfilling, compaction and final grading. METHOD OF MEASUREMENT Sanitary structure adjusted will be measured for payment by each when the change is 6 inches or less to be paid by each of the structure. Sanitary structure remodeled will be measured for payment by each when the change is between 6 inches and 1 foot to be paid by each of the structure. BASIS OF PAYMENT Item 220.7 Sanitary Structure Adjusted will be paid for at the Contract unit price per each, and Item 220.8 Sanitary Structure Remodeled will be paid for at the Contract unit price per each which price shall include all labor, materials, equipment and incidental costs required to complete the work. Removing and resetting of the frame and cover to the proposed grade for structures designated to be adjusted or remodeled shall be separately measured for payment under Item 222.3.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account.   • Sub-contractors Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.
