Daily rest periods. If the employee’s continuous daily working time is longer than six hours, he is to be given during his working day a regular rest period lasting at least half an hour. The employee and the employer may agree on shortening or eliminating the rest period. The rest period is not counted as working time if the worker may without hindrance absent himself from the workplace. The employee has the right to one rest period when working time exceeds 4 hours and two rest periods when working time exceeds 6 hours. The breaks are to be taken at the most appropriate times from the point of view of the work.

Daily rest periods a. Employees are entitled to an unbroken rest period of at least 11 hours in each continuous period of 24 hours. This rest period is calculated from the end of a shift, or else - if it occurs outside the company location - from the time of arrival back at the company location. For dancers, this unbroken rest period will be more than 11 hours as a rule, in accordance with the agreements set out for this in the company regulations.
Daily rest periods. The salaried employee shall have at least 11 hours’ uninterrupted rest per 24-hour period. Deviations may be made on a temporary basis if this is caused by a special circumstance that the employer could not have foreseen, on condition that the salaried employee is given a corresponding lost rest period at the start of their next work shift. This compensatory rest is paid leave. The main part of the daily rest period shall be scheduled between 22.00 and 06.00. Deviations may also be made if the salaried employee is required to perform monitoring/ supervision without the opportunity to take daily rest. It is a condition that a corresponding compensatory rest period be scheduled in the next available seven-day period. Deviations may be made from the above by local agreement on condition that the salaried employee is compensated with leave or is given other suitable protection. Remarks Examples of such activities stated in the third paragraph above include camp-based activities where it is not possible to arrange a daily rest period for the responsible salaried employee. The 24-hour period in question may encompass a calendar day or any other 24-hour period. Once established, the period shall be scheduled in accordance with a fixed system and applied consistently. The period may be replaced in the event of interruptions in the same way as in the rescheduling of work schedules.
Daily rest periods. An employee shall have a daily rest period per 24 hours of no less than 11 hours. When the daily rest period is shortened, the employee shall be guaranteed an appropriate form of compensation. Weekly rest periods One daily rest period shall for every seven-day period be extended by 24 hours to a weekly rest period of 35 hours. Night work The regular working hours for a night worker shall not exceed an average of eight hours for every 24-hour period on average per annum. Night work constitutes at least three hours of regular working time scheduled between 11 pm and 6 am. Regular weekly working time shall amount to at most 35 hours on average over a four-week period for permanent night work. Permanent night work constitutes an employee only working at night and not working during the day time and that the night work is carried out on average five times a week over a four-week period.
Daily rest periods. 1. On double-shift workdays, each rehearsal of no more than 2 hours must in- clude a 15-minute break and each rehearsal of no more than 3 hours must include a 20-minute break.

In orchestra dress rehearsals, piano dress rehearsals and performances, the breaks must coincide with intermissions. On Saturdays and on days on which there is a 4-hour performance in the evening, the rehearsal time shall include one 10-minute break per each rehearsal period exceeding 1.5 hours. On days on which there is a 3.5-hour performance in the evening, the rehearsal time shall include one 15-minute break per each rehearsal period exceeding 1.5 hours.

  • Paid Rest Periods All Employees shall be given a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in the first and second half of their daily shift in an area made available by the Employer. If mutually agreed to between the parties, the two (2) rest periods shall be combined.

  • Rest Periods Employees working a full shift will receive one rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in each half of the shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four (4) hours will receive one fifteen (15) minute rest period.

  • Interest Periods In connection with each LIBOR Rate Loan, the Borrower, by giving notice at the times described in Section 3.1(a), shall elect an interest period (each, an "Interest Period") to be applicable to such Loan, which Interest Period shall be a period of one (1), two (2), three (3) or six (6) months with respect to each LIBOR Rate Loan; provided that:
