Customs Declarations and Manifesting. Customs Declarations by all SN will take the form of actual aircraft, ship, vessel, train, or vehicle manifests identifying specific information regarding all personnel, equipment, cargo, and military supplies. Carriage of Arms. All weapons will be declared. On HN territory, the forces are allowed to carry their weapons only for exercise purposes and in accordance with the exercise plan. When not in use, all weapons are to be securely stored in a space either provided or approved by the HN. Force Protection (FP)/Security. Force protection/Security is a HN responsibility, and will be carried out in accordance with HN regulations. Comprehensive and effective force protection will be planned for the Exercise, and will be detailed in Exercise Plan (EXPLAN) or follow-on documents as appropriate. Force protection will be applied in accordance with NATO policy and procedures. Under no circumstances will the force protection be required or provided in contradiction with the HN laws. As appropriate, the HN will inform the SN of its proposed FP measures, limitations and restrictions. As appropriate, each SN is responsible for identifying and providing its force protection requirements and limitations to the HN. Security of classified information and material. All classified information or material, exchanged or generated in connection with the Exercise will be used, transmitted, stored, handled and safeguarded in accordance with Participants applicable security laws and regulations and relevant security agreements or arrangements between the various Participants, to the extend that they provide a degree of protection no less stringent than detailed in NATO document “Security within the NATO”, C-M 2002(49), ACO Security Directive AD-70-1 dated November 2014 and subsequent amendments or replacements. Each participant will take all lawful steps to ensure that information provided or generated in connection with the exercise is protected from further disclosure unless the originating Participant consents to such disclosure.

  • Contractor Claims In the event of any demand by Contractor for (A) a time extension, including, without limitation, for relief from damages or penalties for delay assessed by the District under the Contract, (B) payment by the District of money or damages arising from work done by, or on behalf of, the Contractor pursuant to the Contract and payment of which is not otherwise expressly provided for or to which Contractor is not otherwise entitled to, or (C) an amount of payment disputed by the District, the parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute by those procedures set forth in Public Contract Code section 9204 and/or Article 1.5 (commencing with section 20104) of Chapter 1, Part, 3, Division 2, of the Public Contract Code, if applicable, the provisions of which are each attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. For purposes of those provisions, the running of the time within which a claim must be presented to the District shall be tolled from the time the Contractor submits its written claim until the time the claim is denied, including any time utilized by any applicable meet and confer process. Pending resolution of the dispute, Contractor and its subcontractors shall continue to perform the Work under the Contract and shall not cause a delay of the Work during any dispute, claim, negotiation, mediation, or arbitration proceeding, except by written agreement of the District.

  • SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS The Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work.

  • Security Protocols Both parties agree to maintain security protocols that meet industry standards in the transfer or transmission of any data, including ensuring that data may only be viewed or accessed by parties legally allowed to do so. Provider shall maintain all data obtained or generated pursuant to the Service Agreement in a secure digital environment and not copy, reproduce, or transmit data obtained pursuant to the Service Agreement, except as necessary to fulfill the purpose of data requests by LEA.

  • Solicitations for Subcontracts, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the Engineer for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the Engineer of the Engineer's obligations under this contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.
