Customer Security. Customer shall employ all physical, administrative and technical controls, screening and security procedures and other safeguards necessary to: (a) securely administer the distribution and use of all Access Credentials and protect against any unauthorized access to or use of the InVue Services; and (b) control the content and use of Customer Data, including the uploading or other provision of Customer Data for processing by the InVue Services.

Customer Security. Customer is responsible for configuring and using the security features of the electronic signature service to meet Customer’s obligations to Participants under applicable privacy, security, and data protection laws. Customer is responsible for the security of Electronic Documents that are emailed to Participants from the electronic signature service, downloaded from the electronic signature service, or which are transferred to a non-Adobe system via a third party integration feature of the electronic signature service. Customer is liable for damages arising out of unauthorized access to Customer’s account or to Customer Data if Customer fails to follow secure password composition, management, and protection practices for Customer’s account.
Customer Security. Customer is responsible for properly configuring and using the Hosted Services and taking Customer’s own steps to maintain appropriate security, integrity, and backup of Customer Content, which may include routine archiving of Customer Content and the use of encryption technology to protect Customer’s Content and credentials. Customer’s credentials (which may include username, passwords, tokens, certificates, keys, and pins) issued by GE or selected by Customer for accessing the Hosted Services are for Customer’s internal use only and Customer may not share or disclose them to any other entity or person, except that Customer may disclose Customer’s credentials to Customer’s employees, agents, and subcontractors performing work on Customer’s behalf (“User”). Customer is responsible for any use of Customer’s credentials and for notifying GE immediately of any breach of security related to Customer’s credentials. Customer is responsible for complying with the Data Protection Plan and all other security requirements published by GE or communicated to Customer for securing Customer Content in connection with using the Hosted Services. Customer is deemed to have taken any action that Customer permits, assists, or facilitates any User or other person or entity to take related to this Agreement, Customer Content, or the Hosted Services. Customer shall not take any action to circumvent any security feature or attempt to exceed authorized access to the Hosted Services or its related systems or networks; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Hosted Services or the data contained therein; or send or store material containing software viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other harmful computer code, files, scripts, agents or programs. If Customer becomes aware of any violation of the foregoing by a User, Customer shall immediately terminate such User’s access to Customer’s account and notify GE.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). Customer is solely responsible for compliance with HIPAA and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health ("HITECH"). Adobe is not acting on Customer’s behalf as a Business Associate, as that term is defined in HIPAA, when providing the On-demand Service. Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) prohibits the transmission of any Account Data (including Cardholder Data, Card Verification Code or Value) using the fax signature capability. PCI DSS also prohibits using the electronic signature service to store Sensitive Authentication Data, including Card Verification Code or Value after authorization, even if encrypted. Capitalized terms in this Section are defined in the PCI DSS. Legal Counsel. Customer will solely rely on its own legal counsel and determinations as to the use and viability of Electronic Signatures in a particular country or for a particular product or service, and Customer will ensure its use of the On-demand Service conforms and complies with all laws, regulations and policies relevant to a particular country or for a particular product or service.
Customer Security. Customer agrees to use reasonable security precautions in connection with the use of the Services (including encrypting any information that is subject to legal or regulatory security requirements and that is transmitted to or from, or stored by Customer on, the services or storage devices used by Customer) and require its customers and end users to use appropriate security precautions. Company agrees to perform only the specific security services described in the Sales Order. Customer is otherwise responsible for the security of the Equipment. Customer shall be responsible for unauthorized use of the Services by any person, unless such unauthorized use results from Company’s failure to perform its obligations hereunder.
Customer Security. You are responsible to maintain the security of the user identification and passwords of all persons authorized to access the designated Accounts through Payables+. You are responsible to maintain the security of your equipment and to regularly update the current version of your software to maintain at least the level of security we require. You are required to maintain commercially reasonable internal controls, including, but not limited to, segregation of duties, to protect your business. We shall not be liable to you for any loss arising by reason of your failure to maintain your software or your internal controls.
Customer Security. Customer agrees to use commercially reasonable security precautions in connection with its use of Services. It is the responsibility of Customer to protect the components of the environment related to Services not under the direct control of SIS, generally, to include, but not limited to, customer-assigned accounts, the virtual operating system, applications and related Data unless other Services are established in agreements between SIS and Customer. Accountability of complying with regulations or standards is the responsibility of the Customer, and as such, the Customer is responsible for ensuring Services adequately support Customer requirements.
