Common use of Customer Inquiries Clause in Contracts

Customer Inquiries. 39.1 Calls About the Other Party’s Products and Services. Each Party shall refer all questions regarding the other Party's services or products directly to the other Party at a telephone number specified by the other Party. Each Party shall ensure that all their representatives who receive inquiries regarding the other Party's services or products: (i) provide such numbers, if available to the personnel receiving the call, to callers who inquire about the other Party's services or products; (ii) do not in any way disparage or discriminate against the other Party, or its products or services; and (iii) do not provide information about their products or services during that same inquiry/subscriber contact, unless that information specifically is requested by the caller. Subject to the limitations of this Section, both Parties maintain the right to serve directly any customer within the service area of the other Party. Both Parties may directly market their own telecommunications products and services and in doing so may establish independent relationships with customers of the other Party.
