Custodial/Maintenance. Custodian, Buildings/Grounds Maintenance 20.5 Nutrition Services: Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Assistant ARTICLE IV – LEAVES Leave may only be taken in 30 minute increments. Except for emergency situations, unit members must complete the absence request form which includes obtaining their administrator’s written approval prior to taking leave. In emergency situations, the unit member is required to contact their administrator as far in advance of their scheduled work as possible.
Custodial/Maintenance. Safety Precautions: Any employee who is required to remove and/or encapsulate asbestos, clean infectious bodily fluids/wastes and or handle hazardous waste or materials, shall be provided with all necessary training, equipment, materials and supplies.
Custodial/Maintenance. 1. Employees will be allowed a one-half (1/2) hour lunch period without pay at or near the midpoint of their scheduled shift as designated by the Employer. A one (1) hour lunch period without pay may be granted to an employee by the supervisor providing this lunch period does not interfere with the working schedule. Such request shall be in writing and remain on file for the duration of this Agreement. If the employee’s status should change during this period, the employee may ask to have such request removed.
Custodial/Maintenance. Employees shall submit their preferred vacation period to the administration for approval prior to April 1 of each year. Normally custodial staff shall take their vacations during July and August. Requests for custodial staff for vacation other than for the period of July or August, shall be made, in writing, to the Superintendent and/or designate and a decision shall be made through mutual agreement.
Custodial/Maintenance. In the event of a permanent reduction in work hours of a position or elimination of a position, the least senior custodial/maintenance employee shall have their work hours reduced or will be laid off. The District will then determine all of the remaining positions. After that determination, except for currently filled maintenance positions, all employees at a bid meeting will be able to choose a position based upon seniority.
Custodial/Maintenance. A layoff shall be defined as a reduction in the workforce or a reduction in the normal hours of work for an employee whose hours have been unilaterally reduced by the Employer by more than three (3) hours per week.
Custodial/Maintenance. A. The Board reserves the right to set the hours of work for all custodial/maintenance employees covered by this Agreement. A permanent change in the starting time shall not be made until the Board has given appropriate notice to the Union and the affected custodial/maintenance employees. The Board reserves the right to temporarily change an employee's starting time in case of emergency. The regularly scheduled work week shall consist of forty (40) hours beginning at 12:01 a.m. Monday and ending 168 hours thereafter. The normal workday shall be eight (8) hours. If there is a need for overtime custodial work, such work will be performed by part-time substitutes.
Custodial/Maintenance. 75% of the employee’s daily rate of pay to a maximum of $6000.
Custodial/Maintenance. The regular work schedule for custodial/main- tenance employees shall be Monday through Friday on days when school is scheduled for students and such additional days as shall be authorized by the employer and agreed to by the employee. All custodians will have the option of working on the summer cleaning crew and receive summer help wages.

All employees covered by this Agreement working on a twelve month basis shall receive an annual vacation with full pay based on the following schedule: The first 7 years - 2 weeks + 2 days Upon completion of 7 years - 3 weeks + 2 days Upon completion of 15 years - 4 weeks + 2 days
