Cumulative Leave. 22-1 Effective with the 2008-2009 school year, cumulative days will not be accrued from one year to the next except as provided in Section 22-3. Each full-time contract teacher on active duty the first day of the current school year, shall accrue cumulative leave in accordance with the schedule listed: Service to District 0 Years to 3 Years Number of Days 10 4 Years to 10 Years 11 11 Years to 20 Years 13 21 Years and up 15 22-1-1 Teachers who have contracts for less than full-time shall receive cumulative leave on a pro-rata basis.
Cumulative Leave. Sick leave shall be calculated on the basis of twenty (20) days per year. For the purpose of computing sick leave for a fraction of a year, two hundred (200) days shall be considered to be the number of school days in a year. Unused sick leave in any calendar year may be accumulated and carried forward to the next year up to the maximum of one hundred and forty-five (145) days (including twenty (20) days allowed for the year in which the illness occurred) subject to the following conditions:
Cumulative Leave. If the employer and the employee so agree one week of the employee's annual leave in any year may be deferred for a maximum period of five years and be taken with any other period of annual leave at a time to be mutually agreed by the employer and the employee. In the absence of such mutual agreement all deferred leave which has accumulated over each period of five years shall be taken with the annual leave allowed in respect of the final year of that period. Proportionate leave on termination of employment If after one week's continuous service in any qualifying period an employee lawfully leaves employment or employment is terminated by the employer through no fault of the employee, such employee shall be paid as follows: If other than a seven day shift worker, 2.692 hours for each completed week of continuous service, the service being service in respect of which leave has not previously been granted hereunder. A seven day or continuous shift worker shall be paid for 3.365 hours for each completed week of continuous service, the service being service in respect of which leave has not previously been granted hereunder. For the purpose of this clause payment shall be calculated in accordance with above. Leave is to be taken The annual leave provided for by this clause shall be allowed and shall be taken and, except as provided by terms relating to proportionate leave on termination and annual close down, payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave.
Cumulative Leave. 12:3.1 The total number of days of sick leave that may be used by an employee in any one school year shall be the current annual sick leave allowance of twelve days plus the accumulated reserve for full-time employees, and ten days plus the accumulated reserve for ten-month employees.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave 16.1 Employees covered by this collective agreement will carry forward their accumulated sick leave days from the predecessor school boards to a maximum of 280 days. Effective September 1, 1999 employees (other than temporary employees) shall be credited with two (2) days of sick leave for each month of active full time service to a yearly maximum of 20 days for ten month employees. Effective September 1, 2003 100% of the unused days each year are accumulated, to a possible sick leave total of three hundred (300) days. Sick leave days will be pro-rated for part-time employment.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave Plan Each employee shall accumulate sick leave with pay entitlement at the rate of one-half work day for each full bi-weekly pay period on paid status up to a maximum accumulation of 155 days of unused sick leave with pay entitlement.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.

  • Discretionary Leave 7.7.1 The employer may, where there are special circumstances, xxxxx discretionary leave with or without pay to any principal during periods when the school is officially open for instruction, provided that such leave does not unreasonably impinge upon the operational requirements of the school. Before approving any discretionary leave, the employer shall ensure that the granting of such leave complies with any funding arrangements applying to the school in respect of such leave.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.

  • Accumulation of Sick Leave The unused portion of an Employee's sick leave shall accrue for her future benefit, up to a maximum of one hundred and thirty (130) days.
