CROSS TRAINING PROCEDURE. The purpose of this Letter of Understanding is to agree on the procedures to be used for Cross Training. Cross Training will be provided by the Company at its expense for the purpose of expand- ing the skill and ability of Bargaining Unit members. Cross Training will be provided for the following job classifi- cations with the corresponding estimated duration and fre- quency: Training date to be three weeks after posting date. For each Cross Training session, the Company shall use a job posting as per Article In the event that two (2) or more employees apply, the Company will consider seniority as the determining factor. For the duration of the Cross Training session, the employee will be paid at the start rate for that classification, or their current rate, whichever is greater. Should the successful applicant be unsatisfactoryat any time during the training period, he shall be returned to his former job. He shall not become eligible to be cross trained in that classification for two years from the date of his successful bid. Any successful applicantwill be limited to (two) training sessions per year. Should the successful applicant complete the Cross Training successfully, then he shall be returned to his former job. He shall also be considered by the Company as having the skill and ability to perform the job for which the Cross Training was just completed. In situations where the Company has clear advanced knowl- edge of newjobs becoming available, the required training will be accelerated to cover the new positions on all four shifts.   • Working Procedure Assist in the definition and analysis of vehicle system requirements. Prepare technical specification sheets. Evaluate vendor proposals to ensure the specifications are met. Assist in the generation and checking of test reports. May conduct and witness factory acceptance tests, dynamic performance tests and may provide support for commissioning of vehicles at customers' premises. Perform other related duties as required.

  • Testing Procedure A. For alcohol testing, the member shall be first given a breath test, at the collection site, followed by a confirmatory urine test only where the breath test reveals an initial positive alcohol level of .04 grams per 210 l. of breath. If the initial breath test results are below this level, testing shall be discontinued; if confirmatory urine tests results are below a level equivalent to .04 grams per 210 l. of breath, the confirmatory test shall be considered negative.
