Critical Elements. A. A critical element means a component of a position consisting of one or more duties and responsibilities which contributes toward accomplishing organizational goals and objectives and which is of such importance that unacceptable performance on the element would result in unacceptable performance in the position. Critical Elements. Performance Standards for Critical Elements (The performance standard for each critical element is specified below; examples for the top three performance levels can be found in the system description)

Critical Elements. A. The performance plan must only contain Collective Bargaining Agreement Critical Elements that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant to the work performed, linked to organizational mission and goals, and are time−bound; Critical Elements may include dates or milestones for specific deliverables or projects.
Critical Elements. A. Rating elements must address the critical functions of an employee’s position. A performance plan normally consists of four to six critical elements. A critical element is a work assignment or responsibility of such importance that unacceptable performance of the element would result in a determination that an employee’s overall performance is Unacceptable. When developing critical elements, consideration should be given to work quality, productivity, customer support, teamwork and cooperation for employee performance plans and management, coaching and leadership for supervisory and managerial plans. The critical elements are to be tied to the core competencies of each occupational group and related customer outcomes/expectations. DCMA managers and supervisors are to develop critical elements for all employees that link to the Agency’s Performance Plan.

Each critical element will be in clear and understandable language to the extent possible. Each employee will be provided a copy of his/her performance plan at the time it is developed, which will contain the critical elements, and performance standards of his/her position.
Critical Elements. The employee and the rating official shall meet at least once each year to review/develop employee performance plan for the upcoming rating year. The duties and responsibilities of employees, as described within official position descriptions of record, shall serve as a basis for the development of critical elements. The critical elements shall be in writing and be signed by the employee and the rating official. Normally, this process will be completed within sixty (60) calendar days of the beginning of the rating period or with sixty (60) calendar days upon assumption of a new position or when the employee has a significant change in critical elements. Amendments may be made to the critical elements in this same manner during the rating year on an as- needed basis and should be noted with both the supervisor’s and employee’s initials. Employees will be rated only on those critical elements that are in effect during the performance appraisal period. Employees must be made aware of the critical elements prior to being rated on that critical element. Employees shall receive copies of their established performance plan, including critical elements and any amendments to the critical elements. Supervisors and employees are encouraged to work to resolve any disagreement which may exist concerning the development of employee critical elements. However, as the Employer retains the right to assign work, if such disagreements cannot be mutually resolved, the Employer shall make the final critical elements determinations. It should be noted that an employee’s signature on the performance plan does not necessarily indicate agreement with the plan, but merely indicates that the plan was communicated to the employee in writing.

  • B4 Key Personnel B4.1 The Contractor acknowledges that the Key Personnel are essential to the proper provision of the Services to the Authority.

  • Key Elements ❑ A mentorship relationship includes the nurse doing the mentoring to: ❑ plan the mentorship experience based on the learning needs of the nurse being mentored, including the identification and co-ordination of learning opportunities with other health care providers; ❑ assess the ongoing competence/development of competencies of the nurse being mentored, including assessments of competence gaps, risk management in relation to patient care, and co-ordination of learning experiences; ❑ assist the nurse being mentored to effectively meet patient care needs; ❑ be responsible for the management of learning for the nurse being mentored; ❑ participate in direct skill transfer where there is responsibility for the management of learning for the nurse being mentored; ❑ evaluate the learning experience of the nurse being mentored throughout the duration of the mentorship relationship, including the provision of written and/or verbal reports to management regarding progress towards goal achievement. ❑ It is recognized that the mentor and the nurse being mentored may not be together at all times during the mentorship period. ❑ The Hospital will pay the nurse for doing this assigned responsibility [mentoring] a premium of sixty (60) cents per hour, in addition to her or his regular salary and applicable premium allowance. ❑ The Hospital will review the workload of the mentor and the nurse being mentored to facilitate successful completion of the mentorship assignment.

  • Key Personnel C4.1 The Contractor acknowledges that the Key Personnel are essential to the proper provision of the Services to the Authority.

  • Contractor Key Personnel ‌ The Contractor shall assign a Corporate OASIS Program Manager (COPM) and Corporate OASIS Contract Manager (COCM) as Contractor Key Personnel to represent the Contractor as primary points-of-contact to resolve issues, perform administrative duties, and other functions that may arise relating to OASIS and task orders solicited and awarded under XXXXX. Additional Key Personnel requirements may be designated by the OCO at the task order level. There is no minimum qualification requirements established for Contractor Key Personnel. Additionally, Contractor Key Personnel do not have to be full-time positions; however, the Contractor Key Personnel are expected to be fully proficient in the performance of their duties. The Contractor shall ensure that the OASIS CO has current point-of-contact information for both the COPM and COCM. In the event of a change to Contractor Key Personnel, the Contractor shall notify the OASIS CO and provide all Point of Contact information for the new Key Personnel within 5 calendar days of the change. All costs associated with Contractor Key Personnel duties shall be handled in accordance with the Contractor’s standard accounting practices; however, no costs for Contractor Key Personnel may be billed to the OASIS Program Office. Failure of Contractor Key Personnel to effectively and efficiently perform their duties will be construed as conduct detrimental to contract performance and may result in activation of Dormant Status and/or Off-Ramping (See Sections H.16. and H.17.).

  • Contractor’s Key Personnel The Contractor shall use adequate numbers of qualified individuals with suitable training, education, experience and skill to perform the Services. The Contractor has been selected to perform the Services herein, in part, because of the skills and expertise of the key individuals and/or firms (collectively “Contractor’s Key Personnel”) that are listed in Exhibit F. Substitution or replacement of the individuals and/or firms identified in Exhibit F is not allowed except with written approval of the AOC If the designated lead or key person fails to perform to the satisfaction of the AOC upon written notice, the Contractor will have fifteen (15) calendar days to remove that person from the Project and replace that person with one acceptable to the AOC. All lead or key personnel for any Subcontractor must also be designated by any Subcontractor and are subject to all conditions stated in this section. The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with replacing any of Contractor’s Key Personnel, including the additional costs to familiarize replacement personnel with the Services. If the Contractor does not furnish replacement personnel acceptable to the AOC, the AOC may terminate this Agreement for cause. Prior to the authorization of any Phase of the Agreement, the parties will agree upon any Key Personnel applicable to that Phase. Said personnel shall be documented in Exhibit F. Standard of Care The Contractor, its officers, agents, employees, Subcontractors, consultants and any persons or entities for whom Contractor is responsible, shall provide all Services pursuant to this Agreement in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement and in a manner consistent with the standard of care under California law applicable to those who specialize in providing such services for projects of the type, scope, and complexity of the Project. The AOC’s Acceptance of any submittals, deliverables, or other work product of the Contractor shall not be construed as assent that Contractor has complied, nor in any way relieve the Contractor of, compliance with (i) the applicable standard of care or (ii) applicable statutes, regulations, rules, guidelines, and requirements. AOC’s Quality Assurance Plan The AOC or its agent may evaluate Contractor’s performance under this Agreement. Such evaluation may include assessing Contractor’s compliance with all Agreement terms and performance standards. Any deficiencies in the Contractor’s performance that the AOC determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Agreement in jeopardy if not corrected, will be reported to the Contractor’s principal. The report may include recommended improvements and corrective measures to be taken by the Contractor. If the Contractor’s performance remains unsatisfactory, the AOC may, without limitation, terminate this Agreement for cause or impose other penalties as specified in this Agreement. Any evaluation of Contractor’s performance conducted by the AOC shall not be construed as an Acceptance of the Contractor’s work product or methods of performance. Contractor shall be solely responsible for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the work product that Contractor and its Subcontractors deliver under this Agreement. Contractor shall not rely on AOC to perform any quality control review of Contractor’s work product, as such review shall be conducted by Contractor.
