CRISP Policies and Procedures. 2.01 CRISP will from time-to-time establish Policies and Procedures and post them on the CRISP Website or the Direct Website, as appropriate, and provide notice to Participant as specified in Section 23.2. The Policies and Procedures will contain technical specifications, and other terms or conditions of operation and use of the HIE or the Direct Service, scheduled and unscheduled downtimes for the HIE or the Direct Service, and other terms or requirements relating to the HIE or the Direct Services as are specified in these Terms and Conditions or are consistent with, or that supplement or implement the provisions of, these Terms and Conditions. The Policies and Procedures may also include provisions deemed necessary or advisable by CRISP for the compliance by the HIE with the applicable requirements of CRISP’s designation as the state HIE for the State of Maryland and with the regulations applicable to CRISP as an HIE, such as HIE regulations published by the MHCC. In addition, to the extent CRISP enters into HIE to HIE agreements or expands its services to residents of other states or the District of Columbia, the Policies and Procedures may contain provisions relating to such agreements or expanded services. In the event of a conflict between a provision of these Terms and Conditions and a provision of the Policies and Procedures, the provision of these Terms and Conditions will govern. The Policies and Procedures may be amended from time-to-time in accordance with Section 12 of the Terms and Conditions.
