CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. 43.01 Courses for which students may be granted flexible credit shall be restricted to those offered through traditional seat time within the District, unless such a restriction is prohibited by State law and/or applicable regulations.

CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. 53.01 The Credit Flex Committee, consisting of the High School Principal (or designee), the High School Department Chairpersons, one (1) High School Guidance Counselor, and any identified Teacher of Record shall be convened to review all plans and applications which are submitted by students wishing to participate in the District’s Credit Flexibility Program.
CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. The purpose of Credit Flexibility is to offer students a variety of learning opportunities either within or outside of the traditional classroom. If a student is enrolled in Option C and the unit member’s job duties are required to be completed outside of the teacher’s regular contract day and are in addition to a regular, full-time teaching assignment, the teacher shall be compensated as follows: Step BA 0 not to exceed twenty (20) hours The teacher of record shall determine final credit, except for students utilizing Option B, the test out provision. Credit Flexibility courses are for credits. Credit Flexibility is not a means to eliminate existing courses offered in the regular classrooms. Teaching experience in the desired content area is preferred, and for core academic subjects, a teacher must be highly qualified (HQT). The two exceptions are if a student is enrolled in online coursework for Option C, or if a student is enrolled in an interactive distance learning course, the teacher need not be HQT. Core academic subjects as outlined by ODE include the following: English language arts, science, mathematics, fine arts (dance, music, drama, visual arts), foreign language, government, history, economics, and geography.
CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. Recognizing the need for Xxxxxx Xxxx Local Schools to provide for Flexible Credit options for the students of the district, according to the requirements of H.B. 1, a supplemental contract shall be given to any and all teachers of record who are working with students to attain such flexible credit. Teachers who are working with said students will receive compensation at the extra duty rate established in Article 8.0104 of this Agreement per hour per student for work beyond the school day. If the student decides to discontinue his/her study, the teacher will be paid for all work done up to the student’s decision to discontinue.
CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. 1. A joint high school Credit Flexibility Development Committee (CFDC) shall be established to oversee and review credit flexibility plans for students desiring high school credits under the Credit Flexibility Program. The Committee will be made up of Administration and Association members. Standing Association members will be appointed by the Association President. Other participants may be invited to participate as plan/committee needs require.

CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. A. The assignment of a teacher of record shall first be made by soliciting volunteers from the bargaining unit who are certified/licensed. If no such volunteer is found, the District may assign a bargaining unit member as a teacher of record. However, such involuntary assignments shall be rotated within the affected department.
CREDIT FLEXIBILITY. (a) Parties to any First Source Hiring Agreement for both Construction Work and Non-Construction Work shall receive credit for meeting the goals set forth in their respective First Source Hiring Agreements by contracting with TIHDI member organizations for services such as grounds maintenance and landscaping, janitorial maintenance, deconstruction or other economic development activities as more fully described below. Any party to a First Source Hiring Agreement seeking to obtain credit for such TIHDI contracting under its respective First Source Hiring Agreement shall do so by providing written notice to both the Authority and the FSHA. The Authority, in consultation with the FSHA, shall make a reasonable determination of what (if any) credit shall be applied to the requesting party’s obligations under its First Source Hiring Agreement. Any disputes regarding such credits shall be resolved pursuant to the arbitration provisions of this Program.
