Court Time Overtime. In instances where an officer is required to work scheduled overtime, including court time, the City agrees to pay employees for a minimum of three and one-half (3 ½ ) hours at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s hourly rate of pay. Court time on an employee’s scheduled day off shall be a minimum of four (4) hours at one and one half (1-1/2) times the employee’s hourly rate of pay. If the scheduled overtime, as outlined above, overlaps the officer’s regularly scheduled duty time, the employee will only be eligible for overtime compensation for that time not on duty. If the scheduled overtime, as outlined above, begins one-half (1/2) hour or less after the officer’s regular shift, the officer shall only be paid for the actual time worked. A Departmental vehicle will be provided for employee’s attending out of town training sessions. If no vehicle is available, employees will be reimbursed in accordance with the City’s travel policy.

Court Time Overtime. An officer shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours of compensation at his appropriate overtime rate for appearances in court or at the State’s Attorney’s Office when such appearances occur outside of the officer’s regular duty hours and such appearances are in the officer’s official capacity as a City of Bloomington police officer. If, at the expiration of the two (2) hour period referred to in the previous paragraph, the officer is still in court or at the State’s Attorney’s Office, the officer shall receive overtime compensation for any additional time actually spent by the officer, in court or at the State’s Attorney’s Office. If, at any time after the expiration of the original two (2) hour period referred to in the first paragraph of this Section, the officer is released from attendance in court or the State’s Attorney’s Office but is required to make a subsequent appearance that same day outside of the officer’s regular duty hours, the officer shall receive a new minimum of two

Court Time Overtime. When and to the extent that an officer would otherwise be off-duty, all time worked by the officer (excluding any meal period) while preparing for trial and when appearing in court in the capacity of a commissioned officer shall be considered and compensated as overtime; provided, however, that the officer shall receive no less than two (2) hours of overtime for each such consecutive period that he or she is preparing for trial and/or appearing in court (subject to the limitations set forth in paragraphs “1” and “2” below). For the purpose of determining court time overtime in accordance with this Section, when an officer appears in the morning and then has to return in the afternoon to appear in the same case, this will be considered as two (2) separate court appearances; provided that the time difference between the two court appearances is more than one (1) hour. In this same regard, when an officer has to appear in one court case and then has to return and appear in another court case, this will also be considered as two (2) separate court appearances; provided that the time difference between the two (2) court appearances is more than one (1) hour. For the purpose of this Section, meal periods shall not be considered toward hours worked. Furthermore, should an officer be scheduled for a court appearance which is subsequently canceled, and provided that the officer is not given at least twelve (12) hours advance notice of such cancellation, then the officer shall receive the minimum two

  • Banked Overtime In the event the day in lieu of working the statutory holiday is not provided as stipulated in 8.01.04, this portion may also be banked.

  • Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties. Such overtime shall be assigned to employees who are actively on the payroll and who have indicated their willingness to accept overtime assignments according to section procedures and who are:

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • HOLIDAYS AND OVERTIME 4.11 All work performed outside of the regular scheduled working hours and on Saturdays, Sundays, and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day (California only), Presidents Day (Nevada only), Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day (California only), Nevada Day (Nevada only), Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following, and Christmas Day, or days celebrated as such, shall be paid for at double the regular straight-time rate of pay.   • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.
