Court Time. An employee who is called to appear as a witness in his/her official capacity by a court, including administrative court, on a scheduled day off, a scheduled vacation day or other approved day off shall be paid for the hours so spent, including actual, necessary travel time, at his/her regular hourly rate. This hourly rate shall include the non-standard premium for those employees designated as non-standard. Payment under this Article shall be the total payment for such court time from all sources other than regular pay for the scheduled day off. An employee who is assigned a State vehicle shall be entitled to use such vehicle on such occasions.

Court Time. An employee who is required to appear in Court during his/her scheduled off duty time shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours compensatory time off. An extension or early report to a regularly scheduled shift for court appearance does not qualify the employee for a four (4) hour minimum.
Court Time. 10.01 Court time shall be deemed to be any time spent by a member in his/her off-duty hours in attendance at any Court, inquest or any time spent in litigation and is officially required as a result of his/her police duties and the following provisions shall apply.

In lieu of pay, an employee may, upon mutual agreement, be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1½) hours of compensating time for each hour worked. Payment under this Article shall be the total payment for such court time from all sources other than regular pay for the scheduled day off. An employee who is assigned a State vehicle shall be entitled to use such vehicle on such occasions.
Court Time. Whenever it is necessary for an off-duty officer to appear in Mayor's Court, Municipal Court, Common Pleas Court, U.S. District Court, or appear at a hearing before any tribunal maintained by an agency of state or federal government, on matters pertaining to, or arising from and on behalf of the City of Forest Park, police business, or whenever it is necessary for an off-duty officer to appear before the prosecutor for a pretrial conference, the officer shall turn in an overtime court form to his supervisor. Court time shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2) the Employee's regular hourly base rate, with a minimum of three (3) hours pay, at such rate. The City has the option of paying the court time as overtime pay or compensatory time. Discretion to pay overtime or comp time shall be exercised in a non-discriminatory manner.
