Court Related. The appointing authority may require an employee who has been formally charged in a court of competent jurisdiction with the commission of any felony or of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, provided said crime is related to the employee's employment status, to take a compulsory leave of absence without pay pending determination by way of a plea, finding or verdict at the trial court level as to the guilt or innocence of such employee.

  • Disputes Not Related to Contract Services The Engineer shall be responsible for the settlement of all contractual and administrative issues arising out of any procurement made by the Engineer in support of the services authorized herein.

  • ASSISTANCE IN RELATED PROCUREMENTS 5.1 Where a Relevant Supplier is bidding to provide New Goods and/or Services in circumstances where the Supplier or an Affiliate of the Supplier is already providing (or due to provide) Legacy Goods and/or Services to a Contracting Body, the Supplier shall promptly provide the relevant Contracting Body and/or the Relevant Supplier with all reasonable information and assistance as may be required from time to time to enable the relevant Contracting Body and/or the Relevant Supplier, as appropriate, to:

  • Surgery Services and Mastectomy Related Treatment This plan provides benefits for mastectomy surgery and mastectomy-related services in accordance with the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 and Rhode Island General Law 27-20-29 et seq. For the member receiving mastectomy-related benefits, coverage will be provided in a manner determined in consultation with the attending physician, physician assistant, or an advance practice registered nurse and the patient, for: • all stages of reconstruction of the breast on which the mastectomy was performed; • surgery and reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance; • prostheses; and • treatment of physical complications at all stages of the mastectomy, including lymphedema.   • Interaction with Other Leaves Paid parental leave will run concurrently with any unpaid leave(s) that parents may be entitled to under other provisions of this Agreement or provided by law. Employees shall not receive other types of paid leave provided by this Agreement (e.g., sick, vacation, compensatory time) for hours for which they are receiving PPL.

  • Community Relations i) Establish and maintain NWSA relationship with community organizations in King County to build support for the NWSA’s mission and activities.

  • Other Legal Actions The actions stipulated in this Integrity Pact are without prejudice to any other legal action that may follow in accordance with the provisions of the extant law in force relating to any civil or criminal proceedings.

  • MATERNITY-RELATED REASSIGNMENT OR LEAVE (a) An employee who is pregnant or nursing may, during the period from the beginning of pregnancy to the end of the fifty-second (52nd) week following the birth, request the Council to modify her job functions or reassign her to another job if, by reason of the pregnancy or nursing, continuing any of her current functions may pose a risk to her health or that of the foetus or child.
