Court Leaves. Leave without loss of salary and benefits shall be granted to an academic staff member subpoenaed to be a witness or juror in Canada. The academic staff member shall notify the Department Head and Xxxx (or administrative equivalent) immediately upon being subpoenaed.

Court Leaves. 1. Leave of absence with pay shall normally be granted to any Member, other than a Member on leave of absence without pay, who is required to serve on a jury or to attend as a witness or an expert in a court of justice or before any legal or statutory body in Canada with power to compel the attendance of witnesses before it.
Court Leaves. In the event of a court notification falling on an approved leave that immediately precedes or immediately follows a four (4) day (or more) period of pre-scheduled leave of advance credit hours or annual leave (or any combination thereof), then the compensation set out in Article 7(4) (a)(iii) being sixteen (16) hours shall apply.
