Courses Offered Clause Examples
The "Courses Offered" clause defines the specific educational programs or classes that an institution or provider agrees to make available under the terms of an agreement. It typically lists or references the courses by name, subject, or code, and may specify details such as the format (online, in-person), duration, or frequency of offerings. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of which courses are included, thereby preventing misunderstandings and setting expectations for the scope of educational services to be delivered.
Courses Offered. College and School will determine which courses listed in Appendix A will be offered at the high school under this Agreement. The College and ACE high school shall complete the AB288 Addendum which shall become an addendum to this Agreement by August 1st of each year. Each course listed in the AB 288 Addendum shall be offered for the purpose of:
1. Preparing students for transfer;
2. Improving high school graduation rates;
3. Helping high school pupils achieve college and career readiness; or
4. Offering or expanding dual enrollment opportunities for students who may not already be college bound or who are underrepresented in higher education with the goal of developing seamless career technical education pathways from high school to community college. No physical education courses shall be offered. Courses will also include pathway courses offered at ACE Charter high school campus in the same industry sector offered at the respective College that lead to an industry recognized certificate or credential.
Courses Offered. (a) The University will share the list of courses eligible for the Program with the School District.
(b) Whenever possible. University courses are aligned to the student's high school graduation requirements, the requirements of a career and technical education (CTE) program offered by the School District, or a career pathway offered by the School District.
(c) Whenever possible, University courses available through the Program shall supplement not supplant courses offered by the School District to its secondary school students.
(d) Courses may be offered in person. online or as a combination of in person and online.
(e) Credits earned by students enrolled in the Program shall be equivalent to the credits offered to a postsecondary school student regularly enrolled at the University, including without limitation enforced prerequisites. and the use of an identical curriculum, assessments and instructional materials. and shall be recorded on a University transcript which shall be available to any student enrolled in the Program. Course descriptions are publicly available in the University Bulletin which is accessible through the University's Registrar's website.

Courses Offered. PACCD and the DISTRICT will determine which COURSES will be offered under this AGREEMENT. PACCD and the DISTRICT shall add an Appendix to this AGREEMENT that shall list the courses and other items required by AB288. No Physical Education courses shall be offered.

Courses Offered. College and School will determine which courses listed in Appendix A will be offered at the high school under this Agreement. The College and the LVUSD high school shall complete the AB288 Addendum which shall become an addendum to this Agreement by January 31st of each year for the following academic year. Each course listed in the AB 288 Addendum shall be offered for the purpose of: 1) preparing students for transfer; 2) improving high school graduation rates; 3) helping high school pupils achieve college and career readiness; or 4) offering or expanding dual enrollment opportunities for students who may not already be college bound or who are underrepresented in higher education with the goal of developing seamless career technical education pathways from high school to community college. No physical education courses shall be offered. Courses will also include pathway courses offered at the local LVUSD campus in the same industry sector offered at the respective College that lead to an industry recognized certificate or credential. Linked Learning and Career Technical Education (CTE) Courses: Pathway is defined by courses that are in the General Education Transfer Curriculum pathway AND courses in a career pathway leading to an industry recognized certificate or credential. CTE courses listed in Appendix B-1 will be added to the list of courses under this Agreement as VCCCD develops or identifies the pathway courses ensuring high school students receive college credit for these courses that lead to a certificate or credential in the applicable industries. As LVUSD expands and identifies additional CTE pathway courses including those listed in Appendix B-2 that lead to certificates or credentials and a living wage under Linked Learning or CTE programs for dual credit, VCCCD will work collaboratively with LVUSD to add these CTE pathway courses to the list of available courses under this Agreement. Linked Learning and college level CTE pathway and articulated LVUSD CTE Courses will be available as dual enrollment courses in Appendix A, upon approval by both Parties.
Courses Offered. The following criteria apply to all courses by this agreement:
A. The courses are non-remedial, unless approved by Lackawanna College staff and determined by placement test score.
B. The courses are either in a core academic subject or will be given equal elective credit by the Big Spring School District for those courses instructed by the Big Spring School District. Core subjects include English, Reading or Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Language, Civics C Government, Economics, Arts, History and Geography.
C. The courses offered are comparable to traditional Lackawanna College courses including the use of aligned curriculum, assessment tools and instructional materials.
D. The courses enforce prerequisite coursework requirements comparable to those enforced for the courses when Pre-College students are not enrolled.
E. The courses are regularly accepted in transfer by accredited colleges and universities throughout the nation.
Courses Offered. The following applies to all courses covered by this agreement.
A. Courses are not remedial, unless approved by CBSD, subject to Section VII, paragraph A.(2), supra.
B. The courses are regular college courses available to all members of the Bucks student body.
C. Bucks will work with CBSD to identify courses that align to both high school graduation requirements and those commonly found in college-level general education curricula.
D. Any high school courses that are identified as potential candidates for cross-listing in the Bucks catalog as college coursework will be evaluated by Bucks faculty and deans in the appropriate subject area. CBSD agrees to incorporate any feedback resulting from this review into the ultimate course offered to students participating in the program.
E. The total approved costs for approved course offerings will be:
a. Tuition: $125/credit
