Course Design. An individual may be appointed by the appropriate Xxxx to design a new course. A new course shall be defined as a course that has not previously been offered at the University and which is not listed in the University’s course calendar. The appropriate Xxxx’x office will confirm this appointment in writing to the individual, the department and to the Union. The member shall receive a Course Design stipend of $1000.00. The individual will be entitled to one half (1/2) of the Course Design stipend upon proof of completion of an initial draft, and the final half (1/2) upon completion of an acceptable draft for submission to the approvals process.
