Counseling Faculty. Each full-time counselor is responsible to the appropriate administrator and is responsible for developing a 35-hour weekly schedule of professional responsibilities, in conjunction with the appropriate administrator, pursuant to Article 6, Section D of this Agreement.
Counseling Faculty. (a) The service of regular tenured or probationary counselors may be needed during days not included in the faculty duty day calendar. In order to meet this need the following provisions will apply: The appropriate academic administrator, in consultation with the chair of the Counseling Department, will determine those non-duty dates on which counseling service is required and the number of counselors to be involved. These dates may include any non-duty days during the school year as well as any days in the last week of the school year but excluding holidays and Winter and Spring recesses. In addition, the appropriate academic administrator, in consultation with the chair of the Counseling Department, shall designate a “low load” period during which compensatory time may be taken.

Counseling Faculty. 7.1 Load credit activities of counseling faculty shall include counseling in all areas essential to the student and academic community: consultation with members, administrators and parents; maintenance of client records; and completion of other supporting paperwork.

Each volunteer and his or her compensatory time request must be approved by the appropriate academic administrator.
Counseling Faculty. Counseling faculty are employed for a basic work week of forty (40) hours to be comprised of duties related to counseling and other related duties. Each counselor will be present on a work site a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week, of which twenty-five (25) will consist of duties related to counseling as defined in the official job description under Educational Counseling, Career and Occupational Counseling, and Personal Counseling (see Appendix K-8), plus five (5) hours of other related duties. Duties related to counseling may include teaching Personal Development classes. In such case, working conditions and load as defined in Section 7.4. will apply. The days and hours of counselors shall be scheduled by the appropriate administrator after consultation with the unit member. The appropriate administrator shall schedule staff as needed to cover the calendar year. Counselors shall not be required to work more than 193 days annually.
Counseling Faculty. A. Student Contact-Related Duties for Counseling Faculty. Examples may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Counseling Faculty. A counseling faculty member who is actively employed by Xxxxxxxxxx College during a summer session, shall be paid: (1) for the first forty-four (44) working days assigned by Management during such summer session, a daily rate, determined by dividing, by one hundred ninety-five (195), the faculty member’s salary for the fiscal academic year ending during the calendar year of the summer session, and (2) for each five (5) working days or portion thereof in excess of forty-four (44) assigned by Management during such summer session, a rate equal to the salary for an equivalent semester hour in accordance with the schedule attached hereto as Appendix I.
