A preset shipping cost would need to be artificially high to protect a contract awardee against potentially catastrophically negative costs. Curating shipping costs in real-time for the actual unit being requested to a specific location is the most accurate and cost-effective way to calculate the costs associated with delivery to the final location. Once an Equalis member purchase order has been accepted against a shipping quote, shipping costs will be firm and fixed.

(Knocked Down - back, base and cylinder off for most task chairs, fully assembled for most guest chairs and base and cylinder off for most conference and lounge seating) However, to provide your clients with the best value and help control costs, Allseating now offers 3 flat rate freight options for chair quantitates 25 and over: • KD-Knocked Down, (no charge) • BW-Fully Assembled Blanket Wrapped [$40 List per chair] and • FA-Fully Assembled in a Carton [$75 List per chair]. Note charges for fully assembled options are subject to change based on market conditions and are published in our on line list price book. These charges would be discounted using CCOG standard discount. Minimum quantities of 25 units per order are required to take advantage of the BW and FA list prices. Should the order be less than 25 units, our customer Service team will provide a quote based on quantity of items and shipping location. Freight options are detailed on each product page with a model code and price. Allseating will select carriers at their discretion. Should any of the following freight options that are not included in our freight program be required, the Allseating Sales Support Team will gladly provide a quote. Freight that requires a quote: • Inside delivery • Curb side delivery • Loads requiring fully assembled chairs; boxed or blanket wrapped in • quantities below 25 units. • Loads requiring shipment to be palletized • Delivery on a specific day and/or time • Requiring special equipment to offload (power tailgate and/or driver • assist) • Delivery before or after business hours and/or on weekends • US driver requirements for restricted areas like Military bases/high • security areas • Charges for shipping points beyond standard delivery zones (remote • locations, NWT, Yukon, Nunavut, Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico) • Overseas deliveries • Smaller truck required or reconsignment • Driver Offload Cartoning charge - some side chairs incur a cartoning charge for orders of less than 2 chairs. HiTouch proposes two delivery terms, which are reflected in its pricing proposal: ▪ FOB Factory Freight: Actual freight charges are applied to an order as a separate line charge. Additional surcharges charged to HiTouch from manufacturers may be passed to participating agencies at HiTouch’s cost (not to be marked up by HiTouch). Surcharges can include but are not limited to small order, freight or fuel surcharges. Any surcharge that may be applicable will be presented to the participating agency at the time of quote.
