Core Faculty. The following rules on attaining Core Faculty status for IEL Full-time Faculty are established: (a) to protect faculty employment rights and faculty involvement in the establishment and protection of these rights in the Seattle Community College District, and (b) to define a reasonable and orderly process for the appointment of faculty to Core status, or for the nonrenewal of probationary faculty.
Core Faculty. The University will take all reasonable measures to ensure the teaching departments will be staffed with core faculty and or the core faculty-resident ratio consistent with ACGME requirements.
Core Faculty. Core faculty will be assigned an annual workload that allocates time among the four expected elements of core faculty performance: engagement in student learning; engagement in scholarship; engagement in service; and engagement in institutional citizenship. The percentage of time allocated to each element of expected performance will be determined in accord with University policy. Core faculty are generally responsible for a teaching load of twenty-four (24) credits per academic year. A teaching load of twenty-four (24) quarter credits is equivalent to 60% of a full-time workload. The annual workload will be described in an annual workload form.
Core Faculty. Dependent children of full time Core Faculty are eligible for a twenty-five percent discount when the parent has been employed by the Employer between one and three years. Thereafter, the benefit increases to 100 percent as illustrated below.   • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.
