Cooperation by Contractor. The Contractor shall at all times have on the work, as his agent, a competent superintendent or xxxxxxx thoroughly experienced in the type of work being performed, who shall receive instructions from the Inspector. The superintendent shall have full authority to execute the orders or directions of the Inspector, without delay, and to supply promptly such materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as may be required.
Cooperation by Contractor. No work shall be done nor materials used, without suitable supervision or inspection by the Engineer or his representative, and Contractor shall furnish the Engineer with every reasonable facility for ascertaining whether the work performed and materials used are in accordance with the requirements and intent of the plans and specifications. If the Engineer so requests, Contractor shall, at any time before final acceptance of the work, remove or uncover such portions of the finished work as may be directed. After examination, Contractor shall restore the uncovered portions of the work to the standard required by the specifications. Should the work so exposed or examined prove unacceptable, the uncover or removal, and the replacing of the covering or making good of the parts removed, shall be at Contractor’s expense. However, should the work thus exposed or examined prove acceptable, the uncovering or removing, and the replacing of the covering or making good of the parts removed, shall be paid for as Unforeseeable Work.

Upon request, furnish the Engineer with every reasonable facility for ascertaining whether the work performed and materials used are in accordance with the requirements and intent of the Contract Documents. If the Engineer so requests at any time, remove or uncover portions of finished work as directed. If the Engineer determines that the work so exposed or examined is unacceptable, perform the uncovering or removal, and the replacing of the covering or making good of the parts removed, at no expense to the Department. However, if the Engineer determines that the work thus exposed or examined is acceptable, the Department will pay for the actual costs incurred by uncovering or removing, and the replacing of the covering or making good of the parts removed.

D-BE shall provide the Owner with safe means of access to the work, so the Owner can determine whether the work performed, and materials used are in accordance with the requirements and intent of the Contract Documents. If the Owner so requests at any time before final acceptance of the work, the D-BE shall remove or uncover such portions of the finished work as directed. After examination, restore the uncovered portions of the work to the standard required by the Contract Documents. If the Owner determines that the work so exposed or examined is unacceptable, D-BE shall perform the uncovering or removal, and the replacing of the covering or making good of the parts removed, at no expense to the Owner. Cooperation by Contractor. The City shall supply Contractor with five copies of the Plans and Specifications. Contractor shall have said Plans and Specifications available at the Project at all times during the prosecution of the Work. Contractor shall give the Work its constant attention to facilitate progress and shall cooperate with the Engineer in setting and preserving stakes, benchmarks, etc., and in all other things that are necessary for satisfactory completion of the Work. Contractor shall have a competent and reliable superintendent acting as Contractor’s representative on the job at all times. This representative shall supervise all of Contractor’s workforce, including its subcontractors, during all phases and in all aspects of the Work. All orders from the Engineer shall be directed through the superintendent. Contractor shall provide a list, as deemed necessary by the Engineer, of emergency contacts, including names and 24-hour telephone numbers, to the City.
Cooperation by Contractor. The Contractor shall supervise and direct the work, using its best skills and attention. The Contractor is responsible for all maintenance means, methods, techniques, and procedures, for coordinating all portions of the work, and for cooperating with Department personnel and with other contractors in every way possible. The Contractor shall have on the work site at all times, as an agent, a competent superintendent capable of reading and thoroughly understanding the work directive and specifications and thoroughly experienced in the type of work being performed, who shall receive instructions from the Engineer, Contract Administrator, Inspector or other authorized representative of the Department. The superintendent shall have full authority to execute orders or directions of the Engineer, Contract Administrator or Inspector without delay and to promptly supply such materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as may be required. The Contractor shall furnish a superintendent irrespective of the amount of work subcontracted. The Contractor shall furnish to the Engineer, or Contract Administrator and Inspector a list of addresses and telephone numbers of its personnel who may be reached in case of emergency during hours when no work is being performed. On weekends and holidays and during suspensions of work and storms, the Contractor shall alert certain of its personnel to stand by and shall inform the Engineer or Contractor Administrator and Inspector of arrangements so made. The Contractor is responsible to the Department for the acts and omissions of its employees and its subcontractors and their employees or agents and all other persons performing any of the work with the Contractor under the contract.
Cooperation by Contractor. Attention is directed to the provisions relating to rights of public corporations and municipal departments to enter the site of the improvement and alter, replace, and/or install facilities at some time when the Contractor will be prosecuting other required work contiguous thereto.
Cooperation by Contractor. The Contractor will be supplied by the Department with copies of the plans, and the Contractor shall have available on the Project site at all times during the prosecution of the Project, a copy of the Contract plans and specifications. The Contractor shall give the Project constant attention to facilitate the progress thereof, shall cooperate with the Department, and shall promptly comply with all orders and directions of the Engineer. The Contractor shall at all times during Project construction have on the Project site one of its employees who is thoroughly experienced in the type of work being performed, to supervise the work and accept directions from the Engineer. The Contractor shall always notify the Engineer of the identity of said employee representative in advance of the employee's assignment to that position. The Contractor's representative must have full authority to promptly execute and carry out the orders and directions of the Engineer within the terms of the Contract, and to supply such materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as may be required by the Contract or by the Engineer.
