Conversion of Days to Hours. All of the provisions of this Agreement, which specify days, shall be converted to hours. Where this Agreement refers to a “day”, it shall be converted to seven decimal five (7.5) hours. Notwithstanding the above, in Article 46, Bereavement Leave with Pay, a “day” will be equal to a calendar day. Whenever an employee changes their variable hours, or no longer works variable hours, all appropriate adjustments shall be made.
Conversion of Days to Hours. The provisions of this Agreement which specify days shall be converted to hours on the basis of seven and one half (7 ½) hours a day and a thirty seven and one half (37 ½) hour work week. Notwithstanding the above, in clauses 29.01 Marriage Leave with Pay, 29.02 - Bereavement Leave with Pay, and 29.03 Leave with Pay for Personal and Family Related Responsibilties, a "day" will have the same meaning as the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

Conversion of Days to Hours. When Employee(s) take accrued sick or personal leave, the District will charge the amount of time missed from their regular work schedule up to a maximum of eight (8) hours from their sick or personal leave bank.

Leave General When leave is granted, it will be granted on an hourly basis and the hours debited for each day of leave shall be the same as the hours the employee would normally have been scheduled to work on that day. Overtime Overtime shall be compensated for all work performed: in excess of an employee's scheduled hours of work on a scheduled working day in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement; on days of rest at time and one-half (1 112) except that if the overtime is worked by the employee on two (2) or more consecutive and contiguous days of rest, the employee shall be paid at double time for each hour worked on the second and subsequent days of rest. Second and subsequent days of rest means the second and subsequent days in an unbroken series of consecutive and contiguous calendar days of rest.

Where the Agreement specifies a workweek a day shall be converted to seven decimal five (7.5) hours. Effective the date on which this article applies to an employee, the accrued leave credits shall be converted from days to hours. A change to the normal weekly hours of work for an employee will require that the accrued hourly credits be reverted to days and recalculated at the changed conversion rate. Effective the date on which this article ceases to apply to an employee, the accrued vacation, sick leave and lieu day credits shall be converted from hours to days. Leave -General When leave is granted, it will be granted on an hourly basis and the hours debited for each day of leave shall be the same as the hours the employee would normally have been scheduled to work on that day. All leave provisions which specify days in this Agreement shall be converted to hours with one (1) day being equal to seven point five (7.5) hours.
