Contractual Days. The four days immediately preceding the start of school, except for the Friday before Labor Day.

Contractual Days. Each certificated employee’s contract shall state that employment is for one hundred eighty-five (185) days and shall stipulate the beginning and ending date of said contract. If for any reason, the one hundred eighty- five (185) contractual days have not been fulfilled by the ending day stated in the contract, then the contract shall automatically be extended for the number of days required to fulfill the contractual obligation. The only exception to the aforementioned contract extension shall be for emergency closing in compliance with minimum school year regulations as set forth in Revised Code Sections 3313.48, 3313.481, 3313.482, 3313.484, and 3317.01.
Contractual Days. Full-time schedule predicated upon one hundred seventy-two (172) contractual days.
Contractual Days. The number of duty days for professional employees for the 2022-23 school year shall be 179.50 involving a minimum of 1162.00 classroom hours of instruction.

The contract days include one hundred eighty (180) days of classroom instructions and eight (8) non-teaching duty days. Non-teaching duty days are scheduled as follows:
a. At the beginning of the school year, no more than two in-service days will be scheduled for staff meetings and training, and teachers will have one work day for classroom preparation before school commences for students.
b. One day will be scheduled following that last day attended by students for staff to complete their duties for the school year.
c. One-half day at the end of each nine-week grading period will be scheduled as teacher work days for collaboration and completing grades. During this time, teachers may take advantage of Flex Time; which allows for teachers to leave once all duties have been completed upon approval from administration and completed checklists
d. The remaining days may be used throughout the duty year to meet the educational needs of staff and students as determined by the administration. (Example: A day may have students in class in the morning and have staff participating in non-teaching activities in the afternoon. This day would be considered one-half day of instruction and one-half non- teaching day.) NOTE: For school years 2021-2022, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, thirty (30) minutes will be added to the school day and student contact days will be reduced to 168 making a total of 176 total days. The agreement will revert back to 180 student contact days, as well as 188 total days for the 2024- 2025 school year (with the added thirty (30) minutes being taken off the school day) unless the Association and the Board agree otherwise.
