Common use of CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT. A unit member accepting sabbatical leave shall enter into a separate, written contract whereby they agree to return to service in MCPS for a two-year or three-year period immediately following the leave of absence. If the unit member fails to return and remain for the specified time, they shall refund any monies paid to them or on their behalf by the Board prorated to account for any time served out of the two- or three-year period.
