Contracts of the Agency. A. Except as otherwise authorized in writing by the Department, the Agency shall not execute any contract or obligate itself in any manner requiring the disbursement of Department funds, including consultant or construction contracts or amendments thereto, with any third party with respect to the Project without the written approval of the Department. Failure to obtain such approval shall be sufficient cause for nonpayment by the Department. The Department specifically reserves the right to review the qualifications of any consultant or contractor and to approve or disapprove the employment of such consultant or contractor.

  • Certain State Law Requirements for Contracts The contents of this Section are required by Texas Law and are included by County regardless of content.

  • Existing Contracts Billing terms and provisions contained in existing contracting entity agreements (existing as of the date this policy is approved by the Board of Supervisors) shall remain in effect for the life of the contract. However, when these existing contracts are renegotiated, they shall contain the billing provisions as set forth in this policy.

  • Teacher Contracts A. Contracts for the employment of teachers shall be of two types: Limited Contracts and Continuing Contracts.

  • Facilities for Grievances The Employer shall supply the necessary facilities for the grievance meetings.

  • Contracts and Commitments (a) Schedule 2.16 attached hereto contains a true, complete and correct list and description of the following contracts and agreements, whether written or oral (collectively, the "Contracts"):

  • Continuing Contracts a. A continuing contract is a contract which shall remain in effect until the teacher resigns, elects to retire, or until it is terminated or suspended; and shall be granted only to teachers qualified, as described below, holding Professional, Permanent or Life Certificates or a Professional Educator License. The certificates must be in the field being taught. Holders of a Professional Educator License must also meet either of the following:

  • PUBLIC CONTRACTS WITH NATURAL PERSONS 24-76.5-101, et seq., C.R.S. Contractor, if a natural person eighteen (18) years of age or older, hereby swears and affirms under penalty of perjury that Contractor (i) is a citizen or otherwise lawfully present in the United States pursuant to federal law, (ii) shall comply with the provisions of §§24-76.5-101, et seq., C.R.S., and (iii) has produced one form of identification required by §24-76.5-103, C.R.S. prior to the Effective Date of this Contract.

  • AWARD OF SUBCONTRACTS AND OTHER CONTRACTS FOR PORTIONS OFTHE WORK Unless other procedures are specified or required by the Contract Documents or the Bidding Documents, then the following provisions are applicable:
