CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE EVERYTHING NECESSARY. The contractor shall provide everything necessary for the proper execution of the work according to the intent and meaning of the drawings, schedule of quantities and specifications taken together whether the same may or may not be particularly shown or described therein provided that the same can reasonably be inferred there from and if the contractor finds any discrepancies therein in shall immediately and in writing, refer the same to the employer/ Architects/ PMC whose decision shall be final and binding. The contractor shall provide himself for ground and fresh water for carrying out of the works at his own cost. The employer shall on no account be responsible for the expenses incurred by the contractor for hired ground or fresh water obtained from elsewhere. The rates quoted against individual items will be inclusive of everything necessary to complete the said items of work within the contemplation of the contract, and beyond the unit price no extra payment will be allowed for incidental or contingent work, labour and/or materials inclusive of all taxes and duties whatsoever except for specific items, if any stipulated in the tender documents. The contractor shall supply, fix and maintain at his own cost, for the execution of any work, all tools, tackles, machineries and equipments and all the necessary centering, scaffolding, staging. Planking, timbering, strutting, shoring, pumping, fencing, boarding, watching and lighting by night as well as by day required not only for the proper execution and protection for the said work but also for the protection of the public and safety of any adjacent roads, streets, walls, house, buildings, all other erections, matters and things and the contractor shall take down and remove any or all such centering, scaffolding, planking, timbering, strutting, shoring etc. as occasion shall be required or when ordered so to do, and shall fully reinstate and make good all matters and things disturbed during the execution of works to the satisfaction of the employer/ Architects. The contractor shall at all times give access to workers employed by the employer or any men employed on the buildings and to provide such parties with proper sufficient and if required, special scaffolding, hoists and ladders and provide them with water and lighting and leave or make any holes, grooves etc. in any work, where directed by the employer as may be required to enable such workmen to lay or fix pipes, electrical wiring, special fittings...

CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE EVERYTHING NECESSARY a) The Contractor shall provide everything necessary for the proper execution of the works according to the true intent and meaning of the Drawings, Specifications and Schedule of Quantities taken together whether the same may or may not be particularly shown or described therein, provided that the same can reasonably be inferred wherefrom and if the Contractor finds any discrepancy in the Drawings or between the Drawings, Specifications and Schedule of Quantities he shall immediately refer the same in writing to the Architect/Consultant, who shall decide which shall be followed, and his decision shall be final and binding on all parties. The Contractor shall provide ground for himself and fresh water and power for carrying out of the works at his own cost.

The Contractor shall also supply without charge the requisite number of persons with means and materials necessary for the purpose of setting out works and counting, weighing and assisting in the measurement or examination at any time and from time to time of the work or materials, Failing his so doing, the same may be provided by the Engineer at the expense of the contractor and the expenses may be deducted from any money due to the contractor under the contract and/or from his Security Deposit.

Figured dimensions shall be taken in preference to the scale mentioned on or attached to any drawings.

  • Third Party Contractors Tenant shall obtain and deliver to Landlord, Third Party Contractor’s certificates of insurance and applicable endorsements at least seven (7) business days prior to the commencement of work in or about the Premises by any vendor or any other third-party contractor (collectively, a “Third Party Contractor”). All such insurance shall (a) name Landlord as an additional insured under such party’s liability policies as required by Section 10.3.1 above and this Section 10.6, (b) provide a waiver of subrogation in favor of Landlord under such Third Party Contractor’s commercial general liability insurance, (c) be primary and any insurance carried by Landlord shall be excess and non-contributing, and (d) comply with Landlord’s minimum insurance requirements.

  • Failure to Provide Insurance Lessee acknowledges that any failure on its part to obtain or maintain the insurance required herein will expose Lessor to risks and potentially cause Lessor to incur costs not contemplated by this Lease, the extent of which will be extremely difficult to ascertain. Accordingly, for any month or portion thereof that Lessee does not maintain the required insurance and/or does not provide Lessor with the required binders or certificates evidencing the existence of the required insurance, the Base Rent shall be automatically increased, without any requirement for notice to Lessee, by an amount equal to 10% of the then existing Base Rent or $100, whichever is greater. The parties agree that such increase in Base Rent represents fair and reasonable compensation for the additional risk/costs that Lessor will incur by reason of Lessee's failure to maintain the required insurance. Such increase in Base Rent shall in no event constitute a waiver of Lessee's Default or Breach with respect to the failure to maintain such insurance, prevent the exercise of any of the other rights and remedies granted hereunder, nor relieve Lessee of its obligation to maintain the insurance specified in this Lease.
