Contractor Activities. 5.1.1. Conduct a post-award meeting within ten (10) business days of the task order award date. The meeting will introduce the Government to the members of the contractor team responsible for execution of the program. The contractor will address the steps, processes, key milestones, and other objectives intended to complete the program successfully. The contractor will provide a draft of all reports for Government approval. The contractor will distribute an AAR within 24 hours after the meeting to the Government that will define the responsibilities assigned to the contractor.
Contractor Activities. In carrying out the Tasks under this Agreement, the Contractor shall perform the following types of activities (bulleted below). These activities are the general types of work the Contractor will perform in order to accomplish the Tasks listed in this Agreement. These are not stand-alone activities but are the types of work required to perform Tasks 1-11 below. All work requested via work authorization will fit within one or more of the 11 Tasks. • Perform California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act analysis. • Perform environmental and engineering analysis. • Develop mitigation for significant effects on the environment and recommendations regarding environmental and engineering issues. For AFCs, mitigation measures will take the form of conditions of certification. • Prepare written testimony and present oral testimony. • Write, edit and/or publish technical reports. • Review and comment on technical reports. • Identify, review and evaluate data. Develop information requests for data from sources outside of the CEC, such as project applicants, agencies, or other sources with information relevant to permitting electricity infrastructure. • Conduct literature searches and review existing studies. • Attend, participate in, facilitate, organize and/or present at meetings, workshops and hearings. • Conduct surveys and field assessments to collect and analyze information on energy and environmental resources, land use patterns, existing energy facilities, engineering suitability of specific sites for electricity generation and transmission facilities, and related environmental and engineering matters. • Conduct environmental, engineering, and economic feasibility studies • Prepare maps and conduct/complete Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis • Monitor and analyze project compliance with conditions of certification (may require site visit verification). • Investigate incidents and non-compliance with conditions of certification and applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and standards (LORS). Contractor Activities. The QI facilitator will attend and participate in regularly scheduled meetings of the leadership team of the ICCMLC, as well as state government planning committee and workgroup meetings as requested. The QI facilitator will also participate as a member of the ICCMLC leadership team in the planning, design and presentation of in-person learning sessions and webinars for all communities to enhance their knowledge of processes, methods and tools for integrated care management. The Contractor will also assist the leadership team in the overall evaluation of the ICCMLC efforts across the state. This includes reviewing current literature on recipient of care and provider experience surveys, identifying process and outcome measures, and participating in survey design, testing, and rollout. Contractor Activities. The Contractor, under the direction of CEC staff, will perform a range and variety of activities in carrying out tasks (Tasks 1-7) under this Agreement. The following activities are the general types of work the Contractor will perform, in order to accomplish the subject tasks. • Support environmental, conservation, engineering, infrastructure, economic, and land use planning efforts for terrestrial, coastal, and marine environments. • Use complex analytical models and decision support tools related to environmental and engineering matters, including developing high quality model inputs and assumptions. • Develop, prepare, and upload new data to maintain CEC planning, analysis, data, mapping, and monitoring tools used by the public, stakeholders, and governmental agencies. • Compare the potential environmental impacts, engineering feasibility, potential costs and benefits, and electricity system impacts of different energy facilities or transmission project types and configurations. • Collect data on all types of electricity generation facilities, electric transmission lines, and energy projects in California, out-of-state (western states interconnectivity) and out-of-country (Mexico and Canada) that affect the electric and energy systems in California. • Perform and prepare environmental and engineering analysis. • Prepare resilience studies and analysis including analysis and effects of climate change and GHG reductions. • Develop assessments of the economic benefits of offshore wind and other renewable energy, including workforce development needs and standards. • Work with stakeholders, state, local, and federal agencies, and the offshore wind energy industry to identify suitable sea space for wind energy areas in federal waters sufficient to accommodate the offshore wind planning goals for 2030 and 2045. • Develop plans to improve waterfront facilities that could support a range of floating offshore wind energy development activities. • Conduct assessments of transmission investments and upgrades necessary to support the offshore wind planning goals for 2030 and 2045. • Assist with the development of a permitting roadmap that describes timeframes and milestones for a permitting process for offshore wind energy facilities and associated electricity and transmission infrastructure off the coast of California. • Prepare assessments of potential impacts on coastal resources, fisheries, Native American and Indigenous peoples, and national defense, and stra...
