Contracting, Outsourcing or In-Sourcing. The City agrees to comply with the provisions of the Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx-Xxxxx Act, Government Code Section 3500 et. seq., before it contracts out work or transfers out work to non-bargaining unit employees where the work is regularly performed by bargaining unit employees. The City also agrees to comply with the provisions of Section 1806 of the Long Beach City Charter.

  • CONTRACTING OUT The Hospital shall not contract out any work usually performed by members of the bargaining unit if, as a result of such contracting out, a layoff of any employees other than casual part-time employees results from such contracting out.
