CONTRACTING OUT WORK Section 1. Contracting out of work that is normally, customarily and currently performed by the bargaining unit, shall be subject to the following:
CONTRACTING OUT The Hospital shall not contract out any work usually performed by members of the bargaining unit if, as a result of such contracting out, a layoff of any employees other than casual part-time employees results from such contracting out.
NO CONTRACTING OUT 15.01 The Hospital shall not contract out any work usually performed by members of the bargaining unit if, as a result of such contracting out, a layoff of any employees other than Casual part-time employees results from such contracting out.
MANAGEMENT GRIEVANCES 8.01 It is understood that the Management may at any time file a grievance with the staff representative of the Union and request a meeting with him to discuss any complaint with respect to the conduct of the Union, its officers or committee member, in its relationships with the Company or other employees or with respect to any complaint that there has been a violation of any contractual obligation undertaken by the Union, and that if such grievance by the Management is not settled to the mutual satisfaction of the conferring parties it may be referred to arbitration as set forth in Article VII above.
Processing Grievances The grievant shall be granted reasonable time off with pay from regularly scheduled duty hours to process a grievance, provided that the time off will be devoted to the prompt and efficient investigation and handling of grievances, subject to the following:
Processing of Grievances (a) Shop stewards shall suffer no loss in pay for the time spent processing grievances or attending meetings with the Employer's representative.
Group Grievances No more than five (5) grievants will be permitted to attend grievance meetings.
Policy Grievances Where either party to this agreement disputes the general application, interpretation or alleged violation of an article of this agreement, the dispute shall be discussed initially with the Board of Directors Human Resources Representative (or designate) or the Union within 30 calendar days of the occurrence. Where no satisfactory agreement is reached, either party, within a further 14 calendar days, may submit the dispute to arbitration, as set out in Article 9 of this agreement.
Types of Grievances (a) Individual Grievance - a grievance alleging a violation of this Agreement affecting one Employee.
Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.
