Contracting Officer’s Representative. (COR)‌ The OCO for each task order may designate a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) to perform specific administrative or technical functions. The specific rights and responsibilities of the COR or COTR for each task order shall be described in writing, which upon request, shall be provided to the Contractor. A COR/COTR has no actual, apparent, or implied authority to bind the Government.

Contracting Officer’s Representative. (COR). A person designated and authorized by the KO to administer the contract. This individual has authority to provide technical direction to the Contractor as long as that direction is within the scope of the contract, does not constitute a change, and has no funding implications. Contracting Officer’s Representative. The Contracting Officer’s Representative (XXX) will be appointed by the CO upon award of a BPA Call. The COR(s) will serve as the primary technical contact between the BLM and the Contractor. In this role the COR(s) will provide any specialized instructions to the Contractor regarding the PWS, arrange pre-work conferences as necessary, and coordinate the review and acceptance of all tasks/services under the BPA Call. The COR(s) do not have the authority to modify, or in any way amend the prices, terms, or conditions of the BPA, or the underlying GSA schedule.
Contracting Officer’s Representative. The CO shall apoint a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with the primary duty to monitor contractor performance to ensure that all tehcnical requirements under the contract are met within the period of performance. Contracting Officer’s Representative. The COR will monitor contract performance on behalf of the contracting officer and compliance with terms and conditions of the contract. Also, the COR will receive all documentation required by the contract for the services/supplies ordered, inspected, accepted during the port visits. Various CORs may be assigned to this contract. All customers authorized to use the contract will nominate a Contracting Officer’s Representative for their task orders. The appointed COR’s data will be provided upon the award of the contract.
Contracting Officer’s Representative. (COR) The COR is designated by the Contracting Officer to perform technical liaison between the contractor’s management and the Contracting Officer in routine technical matters constituting general program direction within the scope of the BPA. Under NO circumstances is the COR authorized to effect any changes in the work required under this BPA whatsoever, or enter into any agreement that has the effect of changing the terms and conditions of this BPA, or that causes the Contractor to incur any costs. In addition, the COR will NOT supervise, direct, or control Contractor employees. Notwithstanding this provision, to the extent that Contractor accepts any direction that constitutes a change to this BPA without prior written authorization of the Contracting Officer, costs incurred in connection therewith are incurred at the sole risk of the contractor, and if involved under this BPA will be disallowed. On all matters that pertain to the contract terms, the Contractor must communicate with the Contracting Officer. Whenever, in the opinion of the contractor, the COR requests efforts beyond the terms of the contract, the Contractor shall so advise the Contracting Officer. If the COR persists and there still exists a disagreement as to the proper contractual coverage, the Contracting Officer will be notified immediately, preferably in writing.
Contracting Officer’s Representative. (COR) CORs are responsible for defining requirements, monitoring and evaluating the Contractor’s performance, providing technical support to the KO on Contracting issues, and providing acceptance and rejection information to the Accounting and Finance Section for all invoice processing.
